My tour guide Sulaiman showed me all of the sights in historic Jeddah. I learned of the local history and culture of Jeddah and Saudi Arabia. We visited with Sheikh Mohammad at the mosque and learned the principles of Islam. We explored the souqs and their handcrafted items and foods. I would highly recommend this tour.

This was a fascinating tour of Jeddah’s old town, covering the key sights and lots of hidden gems too. From old buildings with staircases for camels, to spice markets and winding stone streets, it was a great introduction to the culture of the city and country. Osama was a fantastic guide and a great ambassador for Jeddah and Saudi Arabia. His deep knowledge and amusing stories really brought the history alive. He also kindly scheduled regular stops for refreshments and aircon, as welcome breaks from the heat. Don’t miss the camel milk gelato and sugarcane juice! I’d highly recommend the tour and hope to return some day. Thank you!

Our guide was Ferial and we had a wonderful time with her. She let us take our own sweet time to look around and we were able to ask her tons of questions during the trip. It was indeed like having a local friend to walk around with. A must do when you are in Jeddah. If you only have time to do 1 thing in Jeddah, Al Balad is a must!

Nice visit to Saudi Arabia, but we do not recommend this tour company. Primary focus of this company was avoiding paying the Viator commission by asking/insisting over and over that we cancel the tour and pay cash. I observed limited interest in assuring a good experience on the tour and pretty inexperienced guide. Fine with the guide, but the unprofessional approach by the company will limit KSA's ability to attract tourism if this becomes the standard
