Highly recommend!
Be prepared for a variety of weather as well as a beautiful tour to the Isle of Skye! Our guide, Liz, was amazing! She kept us informed about every place we visited and we loved her fairy stories! The accommodations in portree were clean and comfortable and included breakfast. Much to our delight the company was able get additional tickets for Jacobite Steam Train. We were lucky to have breezy weather but we were told by locals the it’s best to bring netting to keep the midge from biting.

Best tour ever!
If you want to experience the Isle of Skye with a small group (14 people in our van) and not worry about the driving or logistics, this is the tour for you. Our guide Tonks is the best tour guide I have ever met. She’s a dramatic storyteller who keeps you engaged for three days and I was very impressed with how she matched her Scottish music playlist perfectly to whatever scenery we were in. We saw it all and had access to some amazing walks.

Excellent experience!! Highly recommend!
This was a great trip! The guide was excellent and made the trip fun, relaxed, and informative. We got to see and do many things within 3 days, but never felt rushed. We loved every stop and our accommodations were conveniently located. I followed the recommendation to make dinner reservations in advance and I am glad I did. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to have an stress-free experience to the Isle of Skye!

Green fields and rocks on the Isle of Skye, Scotland
  • Prepare for unpredictable weather—it can get chilly along the coast even in summer and rain is always a possibility.

  • Pack some insect repellent—the Scottish Highlands are notorious for their midges, an insect similar to mosquitos.

  • Public transport is very limited on the Isle of Skye, so joining a tour is the best option for those without their own transport.
