The RNPS is one of the largest Natural Protected Areas of Peru, with an area of 2,080,000 hectares. YANAYACU RIVER BASIN – PUCATE. It is the third most important part of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, flows into the Marañón River near the Santo Domingo village entrance checkpoint. The whole area of the basin is included in the ecological floor of the tropical moist forest. It is a river of sewage that runs approximately 180 kilometers within which are located more than 12 cars and 59 pipes (Riachuelos).
