Wow!

This was a wonderful tour. Yumi was punctual, polite, knowledgeable and attentive. The hike up to Mt. Hakodate was beautiful and educational. We were able to see a lot of the flowers that were in bloom. The view from the top is breathtaking. The cherry blossoms at the fort were beautiful. We were blessed with great weather and peak blooms. We were in awe. Then Yumi led us to a traditional lunch at the market. Overall, this was a very enjoyable, peaceful, easy paced tour that all four of us thoroughly enjoyed.

Very fun experience

It was a really fun experience. Yuki was very clear with the directions of the meet up place and was there early to ensure we got picked up. The class was very chill and it was a relaxing experience. Learned some basic techniques and the end product was delicious. At the end we also got to see a temple that was close to the workshop and she also recommended a lunch spot for us which was fantastic.

Great experience

The tour operator was great at communicating with us. Our driver was Imran and I would highly recommend him. He suggested we leave half hr early to miss the peak traffic which was a great idea as we also missed the tour buses rush. He was very calm and pleasant natured. Not only was he a great driver but also acted as our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the areas we traveled to and helped with ticket purchases where needed. The restaurant he recommended had amazing food. We had a great experience overall. You can’t do everything in one day so pick 4-5 different places and do them well.

We had a great evening...

We had a great evening bar and food hopping with the Magical Tour. We were very lucky as we were the only ones and had a private tour with the lovely Midori. She asked us what food we liked and catered towards our wishes. The first place offered unlimited drinks and two small dishes each, then onto the gyoza bar, followed by a place that had the best oysters. We highly recommend this tour. Thank you so much Midori, you were wonderful!

Great value, engaging for kids

Incredible experience from start to finish! We felt so welcomed upon arrival, had a robust meal of hot pot, bento, and soup! Mochi, the host, was sweet as her name! The show was interactive and entertaining. We laughed and smiled throughout and was engaging for a 3-year-old. They sent us home with fresh mochi, a printed photo, and some other goodies. Totally recommend!

This was a great time!...

This was a great time! The restaurant is just a short walk from the train station, so it is easy to reach. Get ready for a workout! Anybody that has worked in a kitchen for even a little while knows that working dough is tough to do. Taku-san took his time to explain the differences between the soba that they serve and the soba found elsewhere, and he patiently demonstrates the techniques used to create delicious soba. I would definitely recommend this to anybody traveling to Sapporo!

One of the best experiences on our trip to Hokkaido! The owners were extremely hospitable, friendly, and kind. The instruction to make the soba was thorough yet simple, filled with the history of soba in Japanese culture. It’s an incredible joy to eat the soba you prepared in their cozy restaurant along with some delicious tempura. Highly recommend this experience, guaranteed to be a pleasant surprise and a time to remember.

Great experience, must go on this tour to hit all the spots that are hard to get to.

The company was very helpful in answering any questions I had prior to booking; moreover, seeing that we spoke English, they paired us with an English-speaking driver. Our driver, Andrew, was the best. He was attentive and patient; his customer service skills are A++. He was great at communicating arrival times throughout the day, being an entertaining encyclopedia of fun facts, and providing tips on both local and external destinations. When we accidentally left some stuff in the car, he was kind enough to drop it off at our hotel the next day. The company also has taxi services if you need it! They deserve good business.

Our driver Andrew picked us up directly from Hotel Mystays Sapporo Aspen right on time and dropped us back at the hotel at the end of the day, making the entire trip completely hassle-free, especially as we were traveling as a family. Andrew was very patient, friendly, and professional.
