Former exhibitions on the mainland at Liisankatu 1 and Maurinkatu 1 are no longer open to the public.

The Manege and Artillery Manege exhibitions are on a single level and wheelchair accessible, but the Submarine Vesikko is unsuitable for visitors with mobility concerns.

Although the ferry to Suomenlinna can carry vehicles, the islands are a car-free zone for all but service vehicles.
