Fun & education
The company was good. Fun and interesting educational information Very nice and helpful staff. Got to handle a non-stinging jellyfish,
They also showed a couple of stinging jellyfish. Interesting how we had to observed the bioluminescence dinoflagellates. You and partner need to be instinct rowing.

Cool experience
This was a very good tour company and cool experience. We were lucky one of the tour guides hooked their boat to ours and helped tow us during the kayaking because it was a little difficult. We went one week before the full moon and had to use a tarp to see the bioluminescence. You could definitely see some but it’s not like the pictures. But the experience itself still makes it worth it. The main guide Emily was funny and knowledgeable. The experience was very smooth and safe.

Wonderful Kayaking and Bioluminescence
The kayaking overall was amazing,
me and my family enjoyed it a lot, the staff were super nice and entertaining everyone, even though we couldn’t see the bio luminescence on it’s own, the crew had a plan B which was to put a tarp and look at the glow on the water. Overall very good experience and I would visit again.

Excellent customer service and lots of fun!
We had a lot of fun kayaking through the mangroves under the stars! The guides we knowledgeable and kind (ours even shared her own bug spray). While our family had kayaking experience, others in our group did not, and the guides were patient about teaching them and helping them along the way.
We went during a full moon, knowing the bioluminescence would be limited. However, the seaweed had also moved into the area, further preventing the bioluminescence--something no one could prevent. HOWEVER, this company actually texted and called us ahead of time to warn us of the conditions. While it was already in the fine print and the company had no obligation to call us personally, they wanted to be completely up front about the possibility of not seeing any glow because their customers' satisfaction was important to them. That kind of customer service and integrity is very important to me and is difficult to find!
We opted to take the trip anyway and DID still see some glow. The guide even caught some of the jelly fish in the lagoon to show us. It was a lot of fun and we would absolutely do it again!

Bio bubbles
Really enjoyed the experience with my family. Seeing their reactions and watching them work together was worth every penny. As for the bioluminescent bay, honestly was just night kayaking. While it was fun we had something to do, but the lighting up was lacking for what we had hoped for. Tour guides were great.

Great experience
It was a fun experience. The guides were really good, very patient with some friends who had no experience on a kayak.

Night kayaking in Fajardo
You can't capture the bioluminescence on your phone, so fugeddaboutit. Crew and management very nice and easy to work with.

The Bio Bay is a must for any trip to Puerto Rico!
Had a wonderful time on the Bio Bay tour. The whole thing was so well organized from beginning to end. There is no better feeling than when your kayak finally passes through the channel and you arrive in the massive bay. It is so peaceful and serene. I could spend hours just sitting on the bay, watching the stars come to life. This was one of the most memorable moments of our entire vacation.

Must do!
It was amazing. We had never kayaked before and was kind of nervous about it ( it’s in complete darkness) and you have to kayak for a while. I think the hardest part was when other groups were coming against our group. Joel was great we food the Spanish tour. We got to see the bioluminicent very good so no disappointment. Overall it was very fun and great experience ! Must do!

Kayak tours typically navigate through a tunnel of mangrove trees before reaching the glowing waters.
Swimming in this bio bay in Puerto Rico is not allowed; you can swim and snorkel in the bay at La Parguera.
Guides will sometimes bring a cover so that the tour group can observe the bioluminescence in complete darkness without starlight.
You do not need Laguna Grande tickets to access the bay.
