First of all if you are lucky enough to get Shahab and Iman as your drivers and guides this experience will just surpass all expectations. They are genuinely lovely people, very knowledgeable and incredibly safe drivers. They made this excursion one of the best we’ve ever done. Thank you to both of you. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Wear sunscreen. If you rent a buggy DO buy a headscarf and let them cover your mouth and eyes because sand gets into them when you are driving. It’s 50 AED per headscarf and makes your pictures awesome. Be careful when they take your picture there is a charge, holding the eagles is also charged. If you feel car sick this is not for you because the dune bashing is quite intense but so worth it and a thrilling ride. Once at the camp use the toilets BEFORE everyone goes because after they are so dirty you cannot step inside. Either take your own snacks or upgrade to the premium buffet because the included package buffet is terrible and you are herded like cattle. Overall definitely a must do excursion, full of fun and excitement, breathtaking sunset pictures and fun camel rides. Recommend it 100%

This was a last minute booking however we thoroughly enjoyed it. A small caution that not all stops in the itinerary are open every day, however our guide Zar accommodated this by providing additional options for us. From Dubai it’s about an 80 or 90 minute drive each way.

We had a wonderful desert safari with Desert Fun Tourism. The dune bashing was thrilling, the quad biking was great fun, and sandboarding was something different and really enjoyable. We also loved the falcon photo opportunity and the camel ride — it made the whole experience feel authentic and well rounded. The desert scenery was absolutely stunning. The endless golden dunes, the soft curves of the sand and the changing light made it feel almost cinematic. We stopped at some beautiful viewpoints where the views stretched for miles — perfect for photos and just taking in the atmosphere. Farooq, our guide, was fantastic — friendly, professional and clearly very experienced. He made us feel completely safe during dune bashing and ensured everything ran smoothly. He also took the time to show us how to get the best photos in the desert light and helped capture some brilliant shots for us, which we really appreciated. Would definitely recommend this company!
