We offer pickup from any hotel in Dubai. For pickups from a residence or apartment, a private vehicle booking is required. Pick-up times vary throughout the year based on sunset times. Generally, expect pickup between 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm. We will confirm your exact pick-up time via email or phone call around noon on the day of your excursion.

Itinerary
Begin your desert experience with a pickup from your central Dubai hotel. Enjoy the views as you travel into the desert and swap your pickup vehicle for a shared, open-top vintage Land Rover.
Then, with an experienced driver at the wheel, set off through the beautiful Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, a protected haven for desert wildlife. En route, listen to interesting stories about Dubai’s history and an introduction to the traditional desert activities on offer this evening.
As you rumble through the sands, look for wildlife such as Arabian gazelles and oryx. Then, as the sun sets, stop for a fascinating display of falconry. Watch as the birds soar through the air and swoop for lures.
Back aboard your Land Rover, drive to a Bedouin-style desert camp in the grounds of a private royal retreat. Admire the beautiful setting of plush tents and outdoor cushions cast in the flickering light of flame torches.
Before dinner, enjoy an array of Emirati activities. Savor an Arabic coffee, watch a bread-making demonstration, get a henna tattoo, and take a camel ride.
Next, take a seat at a shared, low Bedouin-style table for a delicious multi-course dinner of Emirati specialities. After, smoke a shisha (Arabic water pipe) if you wish, and enjoy displays of Arabic folk dancing and music as the stars light up the sky.

We had an amazing time on this desert safari. Our guide was absolutely fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. Pickup was on time and everything from start to finish ran so smoothly.
The trip through the desert in the vintage Land Rover was a real highlight and really comfortable. It was calm and scenery was stunning, and we even saw some Arabian oryx, which was incredible.
The falcon show at sunset was totally stunning, and the evening camp was so relaxed with really authentic food. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Dubai!

The entire experience from the moment we were collected from our hotel to the drive back and everything in between was exceptional. Our guide Dean was super friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. It felt like a passion not a job to him and he made every trip feel unique. The landrover drive through the nature reserve, the falcon display and tea, the four course meal, entertainment, as well as Dean’s stargazing talk was all incredible. There was so much delicious food that our only advice is not to eat beforehand! We highly recommend the trip and would say it’s well worth it!

We enjoyed the Dubai Heritage Desert Safari! It is definitely a long day — we didn’t get back to our hotel until about 10:30pm — but we learned a lot and dinner was fantastic! Come hungry!
One thing that surprised us was how much vegetation there is in the desert. It’s not just endless sand dunes; there’s actually quite a bit of plant life.
Our guide (Taten) was great — he offered to take pictures for us. We also learned so much about the Bedouin people and their traditions, which added meaningful cultural context to the whole experience.
Overall, a memorable, well-organized experience that we would highly recommend — just be prepared for a full (and very fulfilling) day.

This was unanimously the favourite highlight of our family trip to Dubai. One of the best experiences we had in Dubai. This was a truly classy and authentic desert safari. Our tour guide, Samuel, was absolutely outstanding—from pickup to drop-off, he went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. He explained everything clearly and took great care of us throughout the journey.
The food was exceptional, with a delicious four-course meal. The stargazing session was incredibly special, and the falcon show was fantastic. Every part of the experience felt well thought out and authentic.

This experience was absolutely worth it! We went as a group of 7, spanning 3 generations as a birthday gift for my wife. Every minute of this 7 hour excursion was amazing. Our dedicated tour guide, Bash, was a blast to be with- fun, knowledgeable and patient. We can’t speak more highly of him.
The kids adored the falcon show, camel riding and live performances. You get a lot of knowledge on the wildlife, flora and history of the Emirates and Bedouin culture in general. Food was a 10/10, featuring flavors we won’t forget. So grateful for this experience.

Excellent experience on a private Heritage Safari Tour. The Tour company phoned us the morning of with the pick up time. Their rep, Khairi arrived on time and shuttled us the 40 minutes to their camp in a large Ford Expedition SUV. Upon arrival, we were introduced to our vintage Land Rover and traveled across the desert, saw gazels, watched a falcon show, rode camels and ate a wonderful meal. Everything was top quality and very well done. Highly recommended.

Asim is a legend; as if this experience independently could be any greater, Asim's caretaking, thoughtfulness, guiding, knowledge, engagement and service level elevated it even further.

Authentic, entertaining, and real…great way of seeing the desert, local wildlife and a slice of Bedouin culture, while riding a 1951 Landrover…so much better than mindlessly dune bashing in a 4WD

Started off great with amazing guide, truly accommodating and entertaining. All the activities were fun and well managed. The disappointment started with food, especially just two options with vegetarian meal. Bland roasted veggies and vegetables in sauce were the only items served as main course. The sheesha were advertised as unlimited premium sheesha, but the sheesha did not start until after the stargazing event, we were allowed to enjoy for about 20 minutes only.

We understand the importance of a peaceful environment. Our rooms are set in an open area in the desert, and while we would love to provide soundproof rooms, we intentionally preserve the authenticity of our traditional Arabian-style accommodations to offer a genuine desert experience. For a quieter stay, we also offer private setups exclusively for your group, ensuring no other guests are present.
For return transfers, our shared drop-offs are scheduled between 10:30 am and 11:30 am, depending on traffic and location. Since these transfers are shared, we coordinate timing with all guests to ensure a smooth experience, but a private transfer can also be arranged to avoid waiting and reach your hotel at your preferred time.
Regarding the photo and video package, our talented photographers thoughtfully capture every special moment of your experience. The price reflects the expertise of the team and the use of specialized equipment, allowing you to cherish these memories for a lifetime. It’s truly a worthwhile investment.

Money well spent! I don’t think I’ve ever meant a five-star review more than this.
Communication leading up to the tour was also great, making the whole experience feel smooth and stress-free. Our tour guide, Taet, was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive, especially with the two elderly members of our group. And the food… absolutely incredible! Every dish was bursting with flavor and so fresh that we kept talking about it long after the meal was over. The camel ride and henna were wonderful bonuses, too. The stargazing and falcon show were both engaging and informative, and I loved that they invited guests to join in the drum dance.
Everything was perfectly balanced: relaxed but never boring, full of activities yet never overwhelming. A truly unforgettable experience!
