Great Tour
It is such a fun learning walking tour and adding in a train ride. Train was clean and on time, and our tour guide was the Best! Very knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. Highly Recommend this tour but it’s a long day so be prepared.

Five Star Day Trip to Salzburg
Our Viator day trip to Salzburg was the highlight of our stay in Austria! Peter was a truly outstanding guide, sharing his encyclopediac knowledge of every city, geographic area and historical figure in the most warm, friendly, respectful and entertaining way. He even surprised us with fantastic bonus stops to beautiful little towns in the lower and upper lake regions, which were an eyeful and we won’t soon forget! Elizabeth gave us a great tour of Salzburg! It was a long but great day!

Quirky Giude
Florian proved to be an interesting guide! His quirky sense of humour made for an enjoyable morning. We had been to Salzburg before, but Florian was able to show us some of the more obscure sights of the city, while certainly not avoiding the ubiquitous Sound of Music sites.

Great tour of Salzburg
A wonderful experience. We absolutely would recommend this tour. Roman was a great driver and tour guide. It was a long day both there and back, but he was a great driver and really made it enjoyable. All the stops were really awesome and well received. We had Angelique as our tour guide in Salzburg and she was a true gem. An absolute powerhouse when it comes to knowledge. Highly recommend.

Perfect introduction to the highlights of Salzburg.
This was the perfect overview of the highlights of Salzburg. Our guide, Peter, was wonderful, knowledgeable, engaging and so friendly. He adapted the tour to our interests. The air conditioned Mercedes van during a heatwave was perfect! Highly recommend this private tour, and request Peter!!

2026 Germany Trip
Christian had the most outgoing personality - loved his saying, “Let’s go”. He did a great job in directing us from start to finish. He did an awesome job showing us the places where The Sound of Music was filmed. Salzburg was beautiful. The only thing is we wished we had more time!

Great tour!
While vacationing in Germany, we took six tours and hands down, this was our favorite! Jeremy was such a fabulous guide, very informative without giving us information overload.
I fell in love with Salzbergstraße and will definitely go back to stay. What a fabulous city with so much history but also such amazing shopping and restaurants. Next time I will do a tour on the river too!

Munich to Salzburg Private tour
Great communication, easy meet up for train. Nicole our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable about all of the places we visited and spoke great English. We saw so many places in such a short amount of time. Lunch was very good. Enjoyed our German beer and meal! Salzburg is less than a two hour train ride from Munich. Fun and beautiful place to visit even though the weather was a little rainy. We loved our day with Nicole.

Great Private Walking Tour of Salzburg
Our guide was just superb! He shared his knowledge of history, culture, architecture, good restaurants to check out, the musical events the city is famous for, and more. We learned and saw so much, including hidden gems.
