The landscape of the area is systematically changing, thanks to which the territory of the canyon was chosen by many representatives of flora and fauna, including individuals listed in the Red Book of Kazakhstan. The most prominent and memorable places of the great gorge are the Valley of Castles, the Ash and Turang Groves, the Charyn River. The Eco Park operates on the territory of the Charyn canyon, where visitors can visit the mini-zoo, go on an off-road safari ride and quad bike, try a traditional Saka bath and have a tasty lunch at local cafes.

Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in a comfortable jeep or SUV and head to Altyn-Emel National Park. The distance is 250 km (about 4.5 hours). Along the way, you’ll see rural villages, open степpe landscapes, and mountain views. Our first stop is the Singing Dune, which rises 150 meters high (about the height of a 50-story building). In dry weather, the dune produces a deep vibrating sound, similar to the hum of an organ or a jet engine. This rare natural phenomenon was studied by Soviet scientists. Next, we drive to the Aktau Mountains (about 2.5 hours). These mountains are the former bed of an ancient ocean, where you can still see fossils of prehistoric animals. We will stop for lunch in a nearby village. Your guide will be happy to take photos of you during the tour.
