Lay over in Abu Dhabi
Wonderful and flawless experience with Viator from booking my private tour, customizing my trip as per the available time and accommodating to flight delays, picking me up from the airport, taking me around in Abu Dhabi and then to drop off to the hotel at the end of the tour!
My tour guide Shazad was extremely courteous, friendly, flexible and knowledgable! He was helpful with suggesting places for shopping, food and gave some safely tips. At the end of the trip, I was dropped off to my hotel safely. With the time limitation, we had to cut out few places to visit but we were able to accomplish visits to most of the interesting and important places on my list.
I planned my layover trip to Abu Dhabi on the way to India and I am so glad I made the choice of private tour with Viator. I was all alone and did not have to worry about anyone else’s preference of the tour schedules or timings.
Thanks to Viator and to my tour guide- Shahzad for making it a successful, pleasant and memorable time in Abu Dhabi! 😊

Good introduction for first time visitors – Consider appropriate clothing for the mosque.
It’s a very good introduction if first time in Abu Dhabi to get an overview and some facts and anecdotes of the city. We enjoyed the visit to the Grand Mosque despite being very crowded, and some confusion on dress code: My specially bought and used abaya and shayla from Quatar, was not considered appropriate enough with my tights (only covering my knees and partly my legs), and the guide convinced me to be on the safest side possible and lent me a ‘proper’ abaya without any opening in the front not risking to be stopped on entrance. Probably not necessary looking at the other female visitors’ clothing but why take the risk. The guide had nothing to lend to gentlemen, so they needed to take care of their own appearance. Attentive guide and we appreciated the private city tour for our family. Recommendable.

A brilliant tour which...
A brilliant tour which engaged our whole family group which ranged from an 82 year old to a 9 year old. Everything was perfect and super well organised. The tour guide was informative, fun and very knowledgeable. A great activity even if you are not an F1 fan.

Wonderful city tour experience
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our tour driver, CO Ayoub! From the very beginning, he was punctual, professional, and incredibly friendly. His knowledge of the area was impressive — he shared interesting facts, local stories, and helpful tips that truly enriched our trip. He also provided us with the black robes when visiting the mosque.. Ayoub was so caring towards my mother who needed extra assistance. He always had a smile on his face.
