Good introduction for first time visitors – Consider appropriate clothing for the mosque.

It’s a very good introduction if first time in Abu Dhabi to get an overview and some facts and anecdotes of the city. We enjoyed the visit to the Grand Mosque despite being very crowded, and some confusion on dress code: My specially bought and used abaya and shayla from Quatar, was not considered appropriate enough with my tights (only covering my knees and partly my legs), and the guide convinced me to be on the safest side possible and lent me a ‘proper’ abaya without any opening in the front not risking to be stopped on entrance. Probably not necessary looking at the other female visitors’ clothing but why take the risk. The guide had nothing to lend to gentlemen, so they needed to take care of their own appearance. Attentive guide and we appreciated the private city tour for our family. Recommendable.

Day Trip to Abu Dhabi

Naik with Classic City Tours was FANTASTIC! He was very prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. Communication was flawless throughout the entire tour. Because we only had a few hours to work with since we had to change our original tour day and time. Naik was able to get us to all the sights and locations that we had at the top of our list. We saw the beautiful Presidential Palace the Qasr Al Watan, the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, and the stunning Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. We could not ask for a better day and tour. We would highly recommend Naik and Classic City Tours!

Fantastic introduction to Abu Dhabi

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque was very beautiful. I loved seeing the incredible architecture and stunning designs. However, there was a lot of walking involved and the path for visitors was restricted so you had to keep going in a specified direction and it made the process unnecessarily long and tedious. After the mosque, we visited a lovely Heritage Village where we learned about the old way of life in Dubai. We saw animals, markets, and historical artifacts. It was wonderful. Then we went to Emirates Palace which was spectacular. Overall this trip is a fantastic introduction to Abu Dhabi and well worth the trip.

Really interesting session. Meeting the guide at Yas central, via gate 20, then jumping on a small coach to tour the circuit. There are lots of stops along the way to take photos, and the guide offered good insight into the key areas of the track. Recommended.

This tour was great if you have limited time in the city. We had an over night stay between stops so wanted to squeeze in a quick tour of Abu Dhabi highlights. Loved the Mosque and presidential palace. The heritage market was touristy and doesn’t require a long stop. The Emirates Palace was beautiful.

Great overview of Abu Dhabi

There’s no way you can really know Abu Dhabi in depth in one day, but this is a great tour to give a first timer an overview of what the city has to offer. There’s a lot of flexibility built-in so if something is more interesting, you have an opportunity to spend more time. We spent the entire day with Shijar, who provided excellent context, history, and insight about the city, making it so much more enjoyable. We were particularly curious, asking tons of questions, and Shijar fielded them like a champ!

This was a really well organised slick tour. The drive is just over 1hr15 from Abu Dhabi, followed by dune bashing for about 30 minutes and photo stop. Plenty to do at camp (dune buggies and quads can be hired there) Food was really good and brilliantly organised, very professional. Lots of food choices - salads, pasta, chips, daals, bbq meats. You can buy alcohol at the bar there but tea / coffee and juices are free
