Perfect birding tour for those approaching their 30's! And all ages :) The tour picks you up at your accommodations before the day gets too hot. They provide binoculars, snacks, and water. Alejandro was a friendly, knowledgeable guide who took photos on his fancy camera of all the birds we spotted and sent them to us later. He knew and could whistle the calls of the birds, could distinguish the appearance of males/females/juveniles, listed off the common English and Spanish names and the Latin names, and topped it off with knowledge about local plants and insects as well. As beginner birders, my husband and I were so impressed and were particularly awed by the cluster of nesting storks and spoonbills that capped off the tour. It's the end of May, so make sure you book your tour around this time if you want to see the baby birds. Such a unique and fun experience for your vacation!! Thanks Alejandro!!
