Pickup details

Once you disembark from your cruise ship at the Port of Volos, you will see the cruise line buses will be parked directly in front of the ship. Our Avalon Travel vehicles and staff will be located to the right side as you exit the ship. Please look to your right and walk a short distance in that direction. Our team will be waiting there, holding Avalon Travel signs so you can easily identify them.

A glimpse of life in the villages of the Pelion mountains

Katerina was an excellent tour guide and she gave us a lot of info about Volos and the surrounding area - we left with an appreciation for the people and the villages in the Pelion mountains! We enjoyed seeing the small villages and the laid back pace, and had the chance to wander around, shop and eat lunch at a taverna in the middle of one of the towns. An enjoyable day with a knowledgeable and friendly guide!
