This is a great hike followed up with time on a nice beach! The hike does get a little challenging towards the end, but it's a beautiful view even if you don't make it to the top. If you do make it to the top, it is a breathtaking panoramic view! John was a great guide and had an incredible amount of knowledge regarding our surroundings. Very informative! Also, the much needed beach time was a perfect way to wrap up the hike.
I would definitely recommend.

The hike is very steep with a lot of rocks to get through. It is a difficult hike. Going down was just as hard as going down
While most of our group did fine and went ahead, I did have some trouble as the guide went ahead and once he saw us, he continued rather than helping.

I am sorry this was your experience. We will continue work to make this experience good for most if not all!

After a short 30 min ride we hiked a mount Alma with breathtaking view on the island and the water front. All together it takes 2-2.5 hours. Our tour guide John was very knowledgeable about nature of his homeland and was telling us stories about different plants that have been used for medicinal purposes for hundred of years. He provided us water and fruit salads. We were lucky that no-one else signed up for this tour and we had a private experience. Thank you! Natalia and Phil

It was a great intimate experience. There were 4 of us total, not including the tour guide, which was a nice change from our other tours we did through our cruise ship. We were able to start the tour early and really go with the flow because of it. It is a CHALLENGE of a hike, but worth it! Our guide knew the trail very well and would point out other cultural and historical aspects related to the island that mixed it up. He also had quite a bit of pride in Tortola which was also fun to be a part of. My partner and I workout regularly and were sweating up a storm but we were so grateful for some physical activity after all the relaxing we’ve been doing on our cruise. The beach time was a lovely way to top off the day- would definitely plan on doing it again and for sure coming back to Tortola because of it!

The hike is pretty steep at times and requires good balance and endurance. Our guide, John, was very attentive. He made sure we were all safe and having fun. The views from the top of the mountain were amazing! After the hike, he provided fruit and drinks. A great time!

Great hike. Remote and beautiful. Our guide John was terrific. It had rained earlier and it made the hike a bit more difficult, but John knew his way around and was helpful in ensuring our safety. He was also very knowledgeable about the island and the environment. Lots of good lessons and stories.

Kahliim was a fantastic guide - friendly, experienced, professional. Perfect trip for cruise stopovers. Hike was great, mostly shaded. Fruit and cold juice as a break then a superb beach with bar to finish. Collection and return took the pressure off, with plenty of time to visit the stalls before sailing. Highly recommended 5*

We had an amazing time with John as our guide. On the way to and from the hike he showed us interesting sites in the area. The beach was amazing and relaxing.
