Our experience was influenced by rain, and the tour company was not responsible for the weather.
But the weather did affect the tour stops as they tried to make it to the Blue Eye hike before it got worse. The intended stops before the hike were skipped, so we lost most of the cultural value, in our opinion. The hike was too difficult for some members of our group, so they waited in a nearby cafe for 2 hours.
The van seating was too short for adults to be able to ride safely, with many sitting sideways.
The road to the National Park has dozens of close switchbacks, so if you have motion sickness, this might not be the right tour for you.
We did meet some lovely people on the tour, so that's always a bonus.
Tightly run, with a friendly and knowledgeable guide - Daniel. Stunning scenery and a great day out hiking.
Ramadan was an amazing guide super caring with great humour and smile made sure we were looked after! Views were incredible and despite the heat the hike was manageable! Cute lunch in restaurant afterwards and our driver was great! Very careful with the mountain roads! Blue eye was freezing though. Difficult to swim in
What a fantastic experience i will not forget. The scenery was stunning. Pick up in the morning with our Driver and tour guide Dritan was exactly on time. Information and some stops for refreshments on the way. Mountain road was incredible. Then onto the vally below. Truly amazing scenery. Lovely lunch pre ordered just before we set off on the return journey back to Tirana. While here one of the tour group was extremely ill. I have to give a hugh shout out to our guide Dritan who was faced with a very difficult situation. He handled it extremely professionally and with such care and understanding for the lady. Thankfully after some hours she made a full recovery while on the return back. This trip i would highly recommend. Its a long day out but so worth it.
Wonderful experience! Teth and the Blue Eye were gorgeous and 100% worth seeing. Although a long day, it was balanced well with enough time for hiking, swimming, time in Teth, and a delicious lunch. The hike was strenuous in parts with upward climb and lots of rocks, but the pace was reasonable and there was also flat areas to catch your breath with intermittent shade in the beautiful scenery. Our guide, Dave, was friendly and helpful, supplying us with info about Albanian history and the surrounding area. Our driver, Zamir was also excellent navigating the windy roads and Albanian drivers. It was one of my favorite days in Albania!
The Blue Eye of Theth was amazing! The hike to it was a lot in the heat and it’s starting to become overcrowded by tourists, but the water is so cold that everyone jumps in and gets right out and you can still get the pictures you want. I just wish we had more time there. I loved learning about the history of Theth and the culture that still remains. Our guide was great and you could tell he’s very passionate about what he does.
This was a great experience! It was a long day, but it was worthwhile due to the beautiful sights. Daniel was an awesome tour guide!
Daniel was a brillant tour guide, lovely man with such a good sense of humour and knowledge on Albania, the tour itself was breathtaking, you can’t not go to Albania and experience the blue eye! It was worth every penny!
A MUST if you don’t have time to stay overnight in northern Albania like us. Worth every minute in the van! Amazing day, I didn’t even feel like we were driving as much as we did.
This was probably my favorite tour of all the ones I’ve done in Albania. Our guide, Daniel, was really fantastic. My fav guide in Albania who shared a lot of info and tips with us. The hike was not too bad, and the views the whole way were beautiful. Some areas the tour can improve though: our driver was a menace. Some of the journey is through winding mountain roads and he was speeding along them to the point where we had to pull over for a lady to throw up on our way back. If your driving is causing someone to vomit, you should slow down. But after we got back on the bus, he continued driving fast. Dude should slow his roll a lil. This isn’t GTA. also, there really should’ve been two guides since there were 20 of us — one to lead the hike and another to be at the end. This is a safety concern especially since the hike involves traversing over rocks and things in the heat. Docking a star because this company should care more about guest safety, especially during the hike.
It was really good, once in a lifetime experience, never expected Albania to be this beautiful.Our guide Jeffry was very lovely.

The tour is fantastic to see the Albanian alps, hike and see the scenery from the window. Really worth it.
What a fantastic day out we had with David, Dave. He was a most informative, enthusiastic and attentive guide. Although a long day out from Tirana I would recommend this tour to Theth to experience the diversity from the city tours. Thank you David for an unforgettable day.
So amazing!!!!!! Tour guide was the best, hike isn’t very hard if you’re reasonably in shape. Most of the day wasn’t spent hiking but rather doing other things, very balanced

Is there a lot of time in the mini bus? Yes.
Should you do the tour anyway? Absolutely!
While the tour was obviously well planned, a huge part of what made it go so well was our guide Daniel.
Daniel was absolutely magic!
We had a group with ages from 20 to 60+ and all levels of fitness, no doubt a tough ask for most tour guides given the hiking included in this tour. Daniel was so engaging and managed to keep the entire group looked after and informed.
He has an amazing skill of seeming to know who wants and needs what when - both in terms of some extra care with the walk, or who wants what kind of info about the areas we were visiting.
He really made my day, and I’m sure others on the tour felt the same way from some conversations we had over lunch.
Would not recommend booking with Albania inbound. Cost over £60 for the trip. I met them at the place on time. They were late. Turned up & expected me to squeeze in between the guide & driver for. 4hour drive each way as a single woman on my own. Not happening. The van was so small & cramped full of people. They knew it was unacceptable as kept offering to move everyone around as it was crammed. It would have been like sitting in between 2 workmen in a van I didn’t know for a very long drive in a country I had never been to before. I explained I could not go as I wouldn’t be comfortable with the situation. They advised me to message to get a refund. Then refused a refund!! Awful company

The vehicle used for the tour was a Volkswagen Transporter minivan, which is a standard vehicle used for small-group tours throughout Europe. It is designed with 8 passenger seats plus 1 seat for the driver, offering sufficient legroom and space for travelers. The front row includes two passenger seats and one driver seat, the driver on the left, the guide seated in the middle, and your available seat on the right. This seating arrangement is commonly used and is not considered cramped.
After hearing your concerns at the meeting point, our tour guide immediately tried to accommodate you and offered the possibility to move to the back seats together with two other female travelers so you could feel more comfortable. Unfortunately, you declined this alternative as well.
We would also like to clarify that the guide did not promise a refund. You were advised to contact our office if you preferred not to join the tour so we could review possible options. As the service provided fully matched the tour description and the vehicle type normally used for this experience, a refund could not be granted. Instead, we offered a rescheduling option, which was not accepted.
We genuinely regret that the situation did not meet your personal expectations and apologize for any inconvenience caused. Nevertheless, the tour operated as advertised and the agreed service was available to you.

A beautiful outing on a perfect day! The Albanian Alps are beautiful and were such a pleasant surprise. The hike to the Blue eye was long and arduous for me but Dave was so helpful and ensured that I got both up and back safely. He showed great patience with me and he took some great photos of and for me as well. I highly recommend both our guide and this tour.
This tour was amazing. I did this in autumn time and I have to say this was truly breathtaking. Yes it's a little far and yes it's more expensive than the other tours, but this was easily the best experience I had in Albania. I would highly recommend this especially if you have a clear day the views are truly out of this world
This was an AMAZING tour! Our guide, Daniel, was the BEST! He was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information! It included a hike to the Blue Eye and, sadly, I did not have the stamina to make it all the way there. Daniel sent me pictures of it and they will be going on my wall! The drive to the trail head and the village of Theth were phenomenal! The absolute beauty took my breath away and completely stole my heart! I would very highly recommend this tour! A really fantastic and well organised experience. The sights and views were incredible and the tour as a whole was very well organised with a friendly tour guide. A highlight of visiting Albania!
This was a fantastic day trip from Tirana. Our guide, Mentor, was terrific, providing insightful background about the country and the sites we were seeing. He stopped along the journey for scenic lookouts, guided us on the hike to the beautiful Blue Eye waterfall, and took us to historic places in the area. Plus he navigated the mountain roads like a champ. You can cover a lot of ground on this excursion and literally immerse yourself in the northern part of the country (including a dip in the water at the Blue Eye). I highly recommend it!
It was a small and private tour and Heral did his best to give us a unique experience. He gave us hiking sticks (super helpful) and we had good conversations. Thank you
The view was fantastic. You will feel all the early wake up and tired hiking worth it when you reach the Blue Eye.
Our tour guide, Henri was very helpful. One of group lost his purse and passport. Fortunately, he helped him get it back!
Great day tour, my guide was Nolan who ensured the day was comfortable, we hiked to great spots to see the Blue eye pools, and also he helped me take a million photos as I was traveling solo. got lots of good information about Albania and Theth (he answered all my questions with information about the areas). Would recommend a visit here as it was beautiful to be hiking in the Albanian Alps! Hike is a moderate grade 3 hike, so with reasonable fitness levels should be done easily! :)

Henri was an amazing tour guide, he was very interactive & showed us around great! He also made us feel really safe as the roads there aren’t the greatest. Would recommend booking this excursion. Definitely worth seeing theth in Albania!!
Pick ups were smooth - I was well communicated with via whatsapp leading up to collection. Prepare for a long day (14hrs total). After 1.5hr a short stop. Opportunities to stop for photos at viewpoints as you go through the Alps. The hike was great - there is a 15min uphill section, and it is on loose rocks which can be slippery. The Blue Eye was stunning, for sure go up over the suspension bridge. Lunch after the walk at the restaurant was fine, there was plenty of food. The visit to Theti was short and just looking at the church and the reconciliation tower.
