Itinerary

Day 1: Tianjin International Cruise Port to Beijing - Great Wall at Mutianyu - Summer Palace (L)

As soon as your cruise ship arrives in Tianjin International Cruise Port, your private guide collects you in an air-conditioned vehicle. During the journey to the Great Wall, your guide provides a historical introduction to one of the New7Wonders of the World.

Arrive at the Great Wall of China, and stop for lunch in a local village. Then absorb stunning views during a cable car ride and learn about the construction of the iconic monument.

You are then transferred to the Summer Palace (Yiheyuan), home to some of China’s most beautiful landscaped gardens.

The first day concludes with hotel drop-off in Beijing.

Day 2: Temple of heaven - Tian'anmen Square - Forbidden city -Tianjin International Cruise Port (L)

Following hotel checkout, you are collected from your accommodation and head to the Temple of Heaven (Tian tan), to admire the vibrant architecture and hear of Ming and Qing dynasty emperors. Then explore Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) and the Forbidden City (Imperial Palace).

Following a Chinese lunch, head back to the port well in advance of your cruise ship’s departure.

Tian’anmen Square is a free attraction. Security check entry may take 1-3 hours on busy days. If security checks are extremely strict and cause significant delays, we will skip the square—no refund applies as it is a complimentary site.
Travel time reference: Tianjin Cruise Port → Mutianyu Great Wall: approx. 3.5 hours by car Mutianyu Great Wall → Beijing city center: approx. 1.5 hours by car Beijing city center → Tianjin Cruise Port (final day): approx. 2 hours by car
If you choose the return trip to Xingang, the driver will take you back to Xingang after the last day. The tour guide’s service ends in Beijing.

A perfect 2 day tour from our cruise

A wonderful overview of Bejing and Great Wall in two days. Our guide, Lucy and her driver picked us up at our Oceana cruise in Tianjin at 9AM and we traveled to the Great Wall and the Summer Palace on the first day. We stayed the night at a hotel of our choice and Lucy recommended the shopping plaza nearby for our evening, which was such an awesome experience. Lucy and the driver picked us up the next morning at 8:00 AM and we visited the beautiful Temple of Heaven and the Forbidden City. So very impressive. We returned between 3 o’clock to 3:30pm. She made sure we returned in time before our cruise disembarked. It has been the highlight of our cruise around Asia. Lucy‘s English is very good and easy to follow. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and made sure we saw all the highlights of Beijing and the Great Wall. The lunches were included in the tour and were absolutely delicious. Thank you, Lucy.😁

The service and trip was one of best experience we had. The translator was very knowledgebal and gave amazing attentive tour. Driver was excellent also. The lunch they provided during the two day trip was also memorable. I would recommend this translator and driver to anyone who needs great time and receive tremendous knowledge about the country
