Novel experience to see Milford Sound from the comfort of such a great car, the Tesla. I just thought it would be a bit of a gimmick but this is seriously innovative and stylish motoring. Best of all is Nigel who has an enormous knowledge bank - you want him on your pub quiz team! Thx Nigel for catering to our needs, educating us, taking us to the best spots and being such a pleasant person to journey with. Highly recommended.

Nigel was a wonderful driver and guide showing/narrating us the area up to Milford. Great stop with tea on the way and he nabbed us the perfect spot on the cruise to have our wonderful picnic lunch. A very enjoyable day.

Absolutely brilliant trip, very comfortable car and relaxed drive through stunning scenery. Our local guide John was very knowledgeable, interesting and informative and stopped at some lovely spots for short hikes off the beaten track. The boat was very comfortable and not crowded, Nigel even went aboard and reserved us seats in the upstairs lounge with the best views. Would thouroughly recommend these guys for your Milford Sound experience, what a memorable day.

We had a memorable day exploring Milford Sound with Envy Experiences. Nigel was a wonderful tour guide; he was very friendly, knowledgeable and was a safe driver. The day included exploring interesting sites along the way and his knowledge of these was very informative. Nigel timed our stops perfectly so we missed the crowds. Morning tea was also provided which was a nice touch. We would highly recommend this tour to others who want a comfortable ride and an unforgettable experience.

We had a great time exploring Milford sound. If you don't have a car or would like to just be a passenger to see everything in a nice car then I would recommend this tour.

Very pleasant trip with Nigel despite the weather. His background information was a great bonus. The umbrellas getting on and off the Milford Sound cruise was very useful with the rain.
All round it was a great day and being driven around in the Tesla X was a really threat.

Our private tour with Nigel was excellent. He picked us up at our Airbnb, explained everything along our route. He got us on a nice cruise ship only 20 people on the cruise brought us back to our Airbnb. On the way back we checked our reservation at our restaurant and he went in to make sure our reservations were set and dropped us off at our Airbnb. Couldn’t ask for anything better 😁

Jamie was a fantastic guide, he told about lots of native New Zealand birds and wildlife. He stopped at lots of interesting places where we had plenty of photo opportunities. We had amazing tea and coffee he made on a camping fire. The boat trip on Milford Sound was spectacular, fabulous boat. It was a truly wonderful experience with so many lovely extras. Definitely worth the money.

Despite the wet day we had a fantastic time & didn't Milford Sound look spectacular with all the waterfalls.
Nigel is an excellent tour guide & careful driver - the Telsa X was very comfortable and definitely w wonderful way to travel to & from Milford Sound.
My wife & I had a wonderful memorable days.

A very personal tour from Te Anau area to Milford Sound. Nigel was a great host, very knowledgeable and a great company on the car ride. We were a small group on the cruise on the day as well which made the experience even better. Do enjoy the hot morning coffee made in Nigel’s thermette 😀

Nigel was a great tour guide who knew the ins and outs of Te Anau and Milford Sounds. Very friendly and gave us time to digest all info that he shared. He picked us up in his superb Tesla Model X at our lodge on time and also waited for us as we checked out.
The drive to Milford Sounds was very scenic and he made stops along the way allowing us to take photos. Best part was we had most of the places we visited just to us as couple, as opposed to having tour groups.
As we arrived to Milford Sounds scenic cruise, Nigel guided us all the way in to grab best seating spot and we were the first to be in!
All in all such a great deal, glad we took this, as opposed to a bigger tour as we cherished the privacy and having time to wait and take photos on our own time. On the way back to Te Anau we slept in the car and the smooth car ride also helps!
If there was one thing that could make it greater is we wished to have at least done a short hike near some of the hiking trails.

We were staying at Te Anau. After days of driving ourselves around it was great to sit back and let our host Nigel do the driving whilst we just enjoyed the views and absorbed the commentary. Nigel has lived in the area for years so he was a great source of information. We stopped at numerous locations en route. The Milford Sound Cruise which was included in our booking was fantastic. All in all, a great day. Thanks Nigel.

Nigel was an expert tour guide and driver; he made the experience absolutely memorable and included interesting stories and information about the area. His car, Lola, was fabulous and a great way to travel in comfort and style to Milford. I highly recommend this tour as you'll get an experience you can't get in a huge coach bus or by self-driving.
