Absolutely worth doing this tour and visiting all of the 4 sites, but NOT with this tour operator. We decided to pay for a private tour in the hope that it will be extra special and we will be given personal attention and learn much more compared to being on a group tour. We were met by the owner of the company Aka who proudly offered us to get into his Kia. Then he put the music on, loud! And started driving fast down busy Tbilisi roads. We were patiently waiting for some commentary to begin, where we are going, what we are seeing on the way etc. There was nothing. We eventually arrived at the first ruins and expected Aka to guide us through the site. No, that was not what Aka had in mind for the day. His idea of a private tour is to drive us around with loud music blaring for hours and rely on us reading the boards at the monuments. We told him that we paid for a tour to learn beyond what we can read on Google. His answer was - I can't tell you anything more than you can read on Google. But he didn't even try! Talking of zero effort and zero customer care! He didn't even go with us to the caves or checked if we were ok climbing up and down that mountain. We were desperately clinging to other groups with proper tour guides to learn something interesting. And yes we were surrounded by proper tour guides who were enthusiastically sharing their knowledge and passion for the places we visited. Trouble is, it is very easy to set up a tour company in Georgia, advertise on the internet and charge good money (especially for Georgia). Don't bother with Tours2Georgia, spend your money with another company!!!

Fortunately reviews we recieve mostly are possitive and even 5 or 4 stars. Old "russian" lady very arrogant forced guide/driver to drive less than 50 km/h as she had 3 heart attack and she was scared. I see why it happened for her 3 times. She is very umpolite and rude. After asking, guide play music lower. Its a lie that they was not lead by guide to sites. It.would be great if we had an oppirtunity to check customers reviews as well . not to provide tour for such type of people at all. Especiaaly russians

The itinerary of the tour itself was good, and we enjoyed seeing all of the sights. However, I did not see the value in the tour. As listed, entrance fees and lunch are excluded so you are paying for the driver/guide, and ours did not do much guiding. He occasionally offered tidbits of information about places we passed, but most of the drive was spent in silence. At the sights, we were mostly left on our own as he was usually off to the side somewhere smoking. The tour felt quite rushed, and our stop for lunch consisted of grabbing snacks at a grocery store. It seemed like we would have been better off renting a car and seeing these sights on our own.

I really enjoyed the trip, even though the weather was dull to start with, at Djvari, it cleared to sunshine at Gori- the museum is very interesting and the guides inside know a lot need to pay extra 5 lari for guide the train was amazing, as was the rock town you'll need good walking shoes, be ready for some steep walks and finishing up for evensong at the beautiful church in Mtskheta and walking through the tourist market , seeing the wedding parties and christenings was great. My guide was lovely and even though young, was knowledgable enough and the driver was very good, decent car. Thoroughly enjoyed and recommend.

I really liked the tour, the guide didn't push to move on, war really relaxed. You can make the stops for drink or food whenever need. Good one? :

Georgia is a beautiful country. Our guide Aka was very nice and fluent in English. He took us to a really good place for lunch in Mtskheta - the mtsvadi pork barbecue was better than the ones I had in Tbilisi.
