In the company of an English-speaking guide, you'll visit the historic Tenryo Sake Brewery, one of the oldest sake breweries in the Hida region. A sake brewer will show you the step-by-step process of making sake, and take you on a behind-the-scenes tour. - Participants can bring and store suitcases inside of our garage during the tour with additional charge (1,000 JPY / group) so that they can directly head to the next destination such as Kyoto or Tokyo just after the tour
- When it rains or snows, we will basically hold the tour as scheduled
- If it is canceled due to poor weather, you will be offered a different date or a full refund
- The specific departure point is Hida-Hagiwara station, and your guide will pick you up at the station before the tour starting time
- No refund or no alternative date will be given when you do not show up at the meeting time for any reason (meeting time is 10 minutes before start time of tour)
- Minimum drinking age is 20 years
- You can join with your child but he/she is not allowed to drink sake
- This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate

We came from Spain. We are sake lovers. We always wanted to visit a sake brewery where we could see the whole process. Mr. Dai is very professional and he loves what he does. He explained the history of sake, and all its processes in great detail. He answered all our questions. The brewery staff was very attentive in everything. Highly recomended.

Super amazing tour with guide Dai! The brewery was very interesting and it makes you appreciate the sake tasting after. Would definitely do it again if I’m in Takayama.
