This was my first diving experience (hence, diving initiation), however I felt like our diving instructor (C), didn't put in the effort to explain anything prior to getting into the water. I did not feel prepared, nor did my equipment allow me to sink appropriately, which made me very anxious. The whole time, I was trying to orient myself and tried to dive appropriately. While I never felt insecure or unsafe, I did not feel prepared for diving and had to learn on the go. I feel like this would have been a better experience if my dive instructor had been more involved, and better prepared me for my first dive. The area in which we dove had a sunken plane. I would have preferred more fish and reef action. The water was very clear and warm which was nice for a first dive. I would not recommend for a first dive. This is more for experienced divers, contrary to the desripstion.

Following your feedback, we spoke directly with the instructor involved. While she is not one of our regular staff, she acknowledged that she encountered some difficulties during this introductory dive. Our captain also confirmed that a full safety briefing was given on board, as well as additional explanations at the surface when the immersion became challenging.
We must admit we found your review a little harsh compared to the impression we had on the day, when you expressed thanks to our guides and crew after the activity. That said, we fully respect your point of view, and we sincerely apologize if your overall experience was not as enjoyable as it should have been.
This situation is certainly not representative of the service and care that our team is known for. Please rest assured that we are taking your comments very seriously in order to improve and to ensure that all our guests enjoy the safe and memorable experience we are committed to providing.

High-quality equipment, transport and communication. Naia kept us informed of the status of the transportation, Nicolas picked us up near the cruise ship pier and it was a pleasant drive to the marina. All equipment was clean and ready and they placed it all on the dive boat for us. Thomas led us on a nice long dive without being too controlling. Water and espresso awaited after the dive! I rated it 4 instead of 5 stars only because they did not have any underwater photographers and they did not have the type of PADI dive documentation we received at other dive shops which could be helpful for future certification.

The staff at Eleuthera Tahiti Diving center were all amazing. This was my first ever scuba lesson and my instructor was very professional and explained everything in detail and, most of all, made my experience so awesome! I highly recommend this for anyone who might be interested in learning to scuba.

Our instructor was very friendly and knowledgeable and made sure that we were extremely comfortable under the water. We saw many different fish as well as the manmade reef made from a sunken wreck and plane.

J’ai passé un super moment lors de mon tout premier baptême de plongée.
Un membre du club est venu me chercher gratuitement à mon hôtel et m’y a re déposée à la fin de ma session.
L’emplacement de plongée est incroyable, à proximité d’une ancienne épave d’avion et de bateau.
J’étais assez nerveuse avant de commencer et mon moniteur a été très patient, a l’écoute et a tout fait pour que je passe le meilleur moment possible.
En plus, j’étais seule avec le moniteur, ce qui m’a permis d’être guidée au mieux et d’avoir le meilleur accompagnement possible.
Je ne peux que recommander ce club !
