This trip exceeded our expectations! I loved that we were able to let Camino know of our winery preferences. They created a beautiful day of visiting certified IPW wineries that follow environmental sustainability practices. Louis, our trusted guide, was such a pleasure to spend a day together tasting wines in gorgeous mountain settings. His knowledge of wines and viticulture was a gift and made our day so rich with information and memories.

Die Gegend und die Weingüter wurden sehr gezielt und ansprechend ausgesucht. Es gab viele Informationen. Auch an eine kleine Stärkung zwischendurch wurde gedacht. Rundherum eine gute Planung, doch leider hatte es der Tourguide am Freitag etwas eilig und hetzte von einem Ort zum anderen. Dadurch ist leider das entspannte Flair der Gegend verloren gegangen.

Dear Hanka Thank you for your review. When you booked you said that you wanted a German guide. I clearly explained that we do not have a German guide available at such short notice but that Janine can assist you, but she is only available from 09:30 till 5pm. She dropped you off at 16:30. That is a 7 hour tour and normal for a full day tour. I am sorry that you felt rushed on the tour. I will surely follow this up with Janine. But to be honest you had strange requests even the morning of the tour asking if your friends could join and drive behind with their own car? This would have slowed down the tour even more and we can not take responsibility for guests that is not in our own tour vehicle. I think your English was not good enough and you could not appreciate Janine as a guide perhaps. We have always only had good feed back about here and she is super knowledgeable about wines & love people. Kind Regards Antoinette
