Nak did an excellent job of explaining the history of Cambodia to us. The overall experience was great from a small group and being able to see the city in about 5 hours. I would highly recommend this tour.

There was a lot of driving around the city. The 2 other couples got tired of it and the tour ended a little early. The visit to the school was very sweet

Greeted at meeting place by our GREAT informative well spoken guide Sophy, and 2 lovely Cambodian young ladies who presented us with traditional scarfs. Learned a lot about Cambodia and the culture from Sophy. He made sure we stayed hydrated and informed. Happy with the experience, sad about the poverty. Reminded us of Cuba, great beaches, kind people, contrasts of high rise 5 star hotels in tourist zones and citizens living in poverty.

Our guide gave us a nice overview of the city sharing the local culture and adapting to the wishes of our small group. The tour bus was comfortable and safe.

A good overview of Sihanoukville showing the local way of life from the market to fishing village to the budget temple.

Great introduction to Cambodia!

nnewbern, Jan 2026
Mr. Nak was our great tour guide. He is a former monk and has an excellent background on the history of Cambodia. He shared and welcomed our many inquiries about the country. Apppreciated his guidance on bathrooms, water supply, and customs. The itinerary was the best introduction to Cambodia in a short shore excursion with good consideration of getting us back to the ship in a timely basis. We especially enjoyed the marketplace and the beach stop.

Small group tour of Cambodia

Interesting visit

An excellent way to experience hi-lites found in this city. Our guide, Vanthu, spoke English very well so we could learn about the history & culture of the place & people.

Tour needs revamping to suit tourists and not fill in the time

Susan_G, Jan 2026
Guide was very nice but had a heavy accent. The places we went to besides the temples were not great. The fishing market was ok but who needs to see a lot of fish and boats. The smell was bad. Stopping at the giant statue of the man and woman could have been a drive by like the gold lions. The beach was nice for an hour. But the local market was ridiculous. What tourists need to go to a market where there is mostly things which local people need to buy for their homes and we don’t need to get our hair done either or buy food. Tourists need a place for souvenirs or crafts etc. That’s what we were expecting. The tour guide was very nice and sweet. The tour company was very professional but change up that tour to suit tourists better. Not worth the money.

Awesome tour

Travis_T, Jan 2026
We seen a ton in Cambodia. Our tour guide Sophy and driver Mr Kona made our tour exceptional. Loved the pepper we got at the market.

Great experience 10/10

A great tour of Sihanoukville

Lori_F, Jan 2026
We were impressed with the details provided via WhatsApp pre-trip. Nak was our guide and he was superior. His english was easy to understand and he had a wonderful sense of humor. He gave us very thorough explanations of every site we visited and their history. He discussed the general history of Cambodia as well as its past and current relationships with France, Thailand, Vietnam, and Laos. My husband love the tour of the fishing village/docks. Nak was very accommodating in meeting the needs of the group re: bathroom stops and providing water and and wipes. He also took group photos and shared them. We highly recommend booking with this company and Nak as a guide.

Port day in Sihanoukville

Maryetta_S, Jan 2026
This was a small group tour led by Vantha. He shared lots of history with us about the region and people of Sihanoukville. I especially liked that he took photos of the group and shared them with us......adds to our memories of our cruise stop in Cambodia. This tour company seemed well organized meeting many people from the ship who also booked this tour. Group size seemed manageable. Would definitely book again with Vantha as the guide:)

Great tour to get a first impression of cambodia

Nadine_B, Dec 2025
Great tour to get a first impression of cambodia. Our guide, Nak, was giving it all. He welcomed us in a warm way, then had bottled water and fresh wet wipes for us and showed us around as described in the iternery. He answered all our questions into detail and explained a lot of the cambodian history. All in all good guide and good tour company. Would definately do it again so can recommend 100%. Thanks to Nak!

Excellent cruise ship excursion

Yin_N, Dec 2025
This is the first time the cruise ship make a stop in Cambodia which we like to revisit after 25 years. The country is indeed improving with many foreign investors. We are glad we book Green Era Travel thru Viator. The car is decent with working A/C, the driver is safe and courteous. Our guide Vireak is very knowleable and considerate. We have a great cruise excursion stop. We took lots of pictures, walk the beach, had local food for lunch. Next time we will bring our swimming suits.

Driver and guide was very helpful. Tour was excellent but the van has door very high. My spouse has mobility issues and its very hard for her to get down and reboard. If driver start keeping one step stool that will help so many tourists who has some mobility issues.

Good half day in Cambodia

EDWARD_J, Dec 2025
Good tour seen all that was there. But because our ship was rerouted there & another Ship was in port the tour was over booked we were loaded into a van 22 people very crowded sitting in isles. Other then that good half tour guide was very good & Proud of Cambodia

Response from Host, Dec 2025

Dear Edwar, Greetings from Sihanoukville, Cambodia! Thank you very much for sharing your feedback. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour overall and that our guide made a positive impression with their knowledge and pride in Cambodia. We sincerely apologize for the crowded vehicle on the day of your tour. Because your ship was rerouted and another ship was also in port, many of our passengers on your tour requested to add their friends and relatives to the tour at the last minute. As they were already present at the meeting point with no other tour options available, our team made a difficult decision to accommodate them to avoid leaving anyone behind. However, we understand that this resulted in a crowded vehicle, and we are truly sorry for that experience. Your comments are very important to us. We will review our procedures to ensure better capacity control in the future, even in unexpected situations. Thank you again for your understanding, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a more comfortable and enjoyable tour. We wish you a great holiday and best regards, Jeff & Team at GET WhatsApp: +855 12 775 384

Great tour except for ridiculous tourist

KarlC, Nov 2025
The tour was fantastic! We loved the pace and the lunch. The temple, fish market and local markets were interesting. Our guide was so attentive. He gave the group the option to go to beach for an hour or lunch. Everyone wanted to see beach quickly and then go to lunch, except one lady who totally had a melt down. She was crying and saying her vacation was ruined because she wanted everyone to go to the beach. The guide was so accommodating offering her a private beach and the driver would drop everyone at the restaurant and then stay at the beach with her. It was unbelievable how she responded. He had other options for her, but she said no everyone should go to the beach. I can see why she is on vacation alone. Our driver was so patient and kind. It was a great tour!

Cambodian life

Tour guide Sophea was very good and helpful We should have brought our bathing suits. Beach was beautiful

We had a great highlight...

dtninmt, Jun 2025
We had a great highlight tour of Sihanoukville with Nak. He expertly guided us to the sites on the itinerary and educated us about their significance. He offered lots of additional information and perspective about Cambodia, it's history, culture and religions, especially Buddhism. Nak handled our group and time table well, with lots of smiles, laughter and caring. A great day!

Guide Chom was very good....

Robert_C, Apr 2025
Guide Chom was very good. Cambodia is a poor country and should be supported where possible by tourists-some interesting sights to see

What a fantastic tour guide!!

hyunjoon_k, Mar 2025
Tour guide was so kind and knowledgeable. And he was very flexible with what we wanted to see. It was very hot day so he offered us cold towel and waters many many times. Otherwise we could have 🔥.

Beach day

Charo_M, Feb 2025
Very nice day. Got to see the city with lots of temples. Visited the huge indoor market & bought beautiful silk scarves. The rest of the day we opted for the beach & all got massages right on the beach. Had a great day, very relaxed.

Felt truly cared for and saw very real Cambodia

MaryKay_T, Jan 2025
We really enjoyed this tour. Guide was excellent. Driver very good. We had a small snafu on arrival to the port and had to go to Independence Square to meet the guide. Great communication throughout. We met him there with no problem. He also made sure we met the correct bus on the return. Reim was his name. Not sure of the spelling. He was very cordial. Good knowledge. A pleasure to spend time with.

Sihanoukville at one glance

Rafe_Y, Dec 2024
Our guide (named himself as Oceanfrog) received us really friendly at the Cruise port and the agency approached us one week in advance about a change in the schedule, so I was good prepared for this trip. The scheduled tour was as described and the guide provided us a lot of interesting information. My favourite were the temples and my trip (instead of the central market) to the supermarket, which is close to the central market (keep in mind that you need CASH for the central market).

A good tour guide is essential

mark_b, Apr 2024
Thank you for a very good tour 😀Khunchanthy was an excellent guide who gave us a great deal of information about Cambodia. He was caring and listened to what the group wanted to do. He had a great sense of humour and his English was very good.

Celebrations in Sihanoukville, Cambodia

Ross_D, Feb 2024
What made this experience one of our best during this trip, was the intimacy that the guide gave use during the day. He drove us to a small fishing village near Sihanoukville where we experienced a Chinese Lunar New Year "brunch" where several families had just returned from a successful night of fishing, and were very happy to have us join them - including the fireworks. The Buddhist temple and how they actually work, very hands on in working with some of the monks, was very spiritual for my wife and I. I even got to enter their "holiest of holies" centre in the temple and got a complete traditional blessing. WE then got to help preparing and saving the lunch meal.

Excellent guide

Thomas_G, Feb 2024
Our guide, Mr Chhum was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting and enjoyable. His English was excellent and we all enjoyed his lively sense of humor.

Sihanoukville Shore Excursion

Douglas_S, Feb 2024
This was a 16 person shore excursion tour. Our guide Tom was excellent - he was knowledgable, interesting and engaged throughout the entire tour, beginning to end. Really enjoyed the trip to the fishing village area to see a part of local life that was unique and something that would have been hard to see on our own. Least enjoyable was the trip to Waterfall; being the dry season, it was not spectacular and not worth the relatively long and bumby ride over an unpaved road to get there. The included lunch was too long.....the restaurant was not equipped to handle the 2 16 person tours that arrived at the same time. Took almost 1.5 hrs, way too long. Overall though, very good excursion.

We had a very nice guide...
