Roy was an amazing and energetic guide. He has a personal connection to the area and even helped rebuild the temple at the top of Bokor mountain.
He gave us a real view of the mountain, its features and the history of the elements present both new and old.
We had a little time at the end of the day so we added an optional trip to Kep to an amazing (and cost effective) crab restaurant that looked over the ocean for a delicious lunch, then a tour around Keps' beaches and ocean views.
Highly recommend if your in Kampot!

I tried to reach out to this company because we had questions, they would not return my calls or emails. So then I told them I wanted to cancel and they said it was past time to cancel but if they had answered my calls or emails it would not have been to late. This is the only Viator excursions I have EVER had problems with. Use at your own risk. It pissed us off so much we didn't go. Yes, they should be happy they stole our money but at that point we would not have gone anyway.

Had an absolutely brilliant time exploring and learning about the various places we visited. We saw very entertaining monkeys on our journey up and down the mountain which was a great photo opportunity. Our guide Roy was friendly and informative and his personal connection to Wat Sampov Pram is very interesting....ask him about his uncle. Lovely homemade veggie lunch at the waterfall. Excellent tour - great value.

We had such an amazing day with Roy, Bokor is beautiful and Roy took us to all the amazing stops and told us all about the history. We stopped for some lovely lunch near the waterfall and then made our way back down! Great places to stop for photos and we had such a fun day.

The weather up there can be unpredictable but I still had a great time with Roy and other members of the tour group - learnt about the history of the place and had a fun time making my way down waterfalls and up old cathedrals!

Great tour and guide. Having lunch included was a nice bonus. We learned about the history and explored waterfalls and abandoned buildings from the war.

Funnily enough although we booked two separate tours Roy was our guide for both! His english, driving and attentiveness were impeccable for both tours.
Bokor itself is an interesting place to see - perhaps not what you would initially be expecting however very interesting nonetheless

Looked after by Roy. Interesting and informative trip that’s a good way to spend 5-6 hours. Trip to & from the waterfall isn’t easy for anyone that’s not sure footed or with a level of fitness

Had a great day out with Roy who’s lived in the area a long time and has lots of insights to share (Thank you for sharing your stories with us Roy🙏🏼). Lovely homemade veggie lunch provided and unlimited water. Just remember to bring some layers as the mountain gets a bit cold and windy in some parts.

We were satisfied and grateful to see these beautiful places. Our guide, Roy,was a very polite, accurate person. He came at time to our hotel to pick us up for the tour. He explained all places we visited with many details. Our guide Roy, drive us to a very difficult path don the waterfall and he was extremely careful and helpful. Roy waited for us to walk He gave excellent instructions for not getting problems with our hiking.

We could not recommend this tour enough. Bokor National park is beautiful and Roy was such an amazing tour guide. Perfect English, very knowledgeable, funny and passionate about his country. It feels like more of a day out with a friend rather than just a simple tour. Being able to speak to someone like Roy while exploring the park allows you to have such a better understanding and appreciation of the area, and makes the trip all the more worthwhile. He was so good we went back for another tour with him the following day, where we went to see the salt fields, a cave temple, the secret lake, the pepper fields and then finished the day having lunch and coffee in Kep, another beautiful town. These were the best two days of our trip so far. Thank you Roy 🙏🏻

Roy was an awesome guide! He made this day so enjoyable and was so friendly. We saw some awesome sights, got to feed the monkeys with some bananas, and he knew a lot about New Zealand which made us feel right at home. He even introduced us to his family and beautiful children while we waited for the other people on the tour (they were in a different tuktuk) - it was a really special day. Roy also had great english and could tell us a lot about the sights. The included lunch was also delicious. Highly recommend!

Pickup was at a decent time where you could have breakfast first and not rush to get out.
The tour guide was a really nice man, very knowledgeable and explained the sights.
I felt I was given enough time to explore the areas that we did stop off at such as the black palace, the church, the temple, but I would have liked to have explored more of the abandoned buildings such as the post office, casino and police station, but I appreciate there is only so much that can be done in the time as it was a half-day trip.
The lunch provided for me was suitable for me as a vegetarian and it was absolutely delicious. I forgot to thank whoever made it.
I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get away from the city and enjoy some peace and amazing views, and also to escape the heat because it is nice and cool up in the mountains

Roy was an excellent guide - he was passionate, interesting, funny and very knowledgeable about the National Park. He arrived on time to pick us up, and his English was excellent. It was lovely spending the morning with him learning things about himself, the National Park and the culture and history of Cambodia. We stopped to have lunch under the shade of trees near the lake which was a lovely touch. Overall, I would really recommend booking this tour with Roy, it felt very personal and thoughtful - he added little extra touches that we hadn’t got on other tours during our travels. Thank you Roy, it was a one of a kind experience and a great end to our time in Kampot
