The experience of Pamukkale and the site itself was lovely however the transit day was extremely uncomfortable as well as slightly dangerous. Our private transport picked us up from our hotel at 2:50 am and I have to say I feared for my life in the vehicle as the driver was driving extremely fast and dangerous. There was also another party on the transport who also felt the same, when we were looking for safety i.e. seatbelts they were not accessible which also made me even more fearful. After that initial drive we were then transferred onto another bus/vehicle which was extremely cramped and did not provide the best legroom.
on our journey back as mentioned in the description of what is included with that the vehicle had full AC, but that was not the experience, the vehicle was very humid and there was quite a few of us on the vehicle. The return drive from Pamukkale was okay, there was a few moments where The driver was driving fast. We were was also charged 1300 Turkish lira for entry into the site which I feel should be included in the description of the tour specifically the price and also accessibility to using a card reader as sometimes someone who is a tourist doesn’t necessarily feel comfortable carrying cash. I Was also slightly disappointed that the Cleopatra thermal baths was closed for renovations and we were only told on the tour by the guide which I wish was disclosed to us beforehand as that was something I was looking forward to experiencing. Overall Pamukkale was lovely but I definitely feel that the tour needs some improvement.

As for the Cleopatra Pool, we were also eagerly awaiting its reopening on the planned date. Unfortunately, its extended closure due to renovations was out of our control, and we understand your disappointment. We will continue to provide the most up-to-date information to our guests going forward.

Amazing experience! Totally worth the trip. Be aware that you have to pay additional entrance fees (about €30pp) and it was a 16 hour day from Side.

Im großen und ganzen war die Tour schön, die Führung ging richtig zügig, fast schon zu sehr das man schritt halten konnte, und beim essen, hatte man das gefühl man müsse sich beeilen.
Im großen und ganzen ne tolle Tour und sehr empfehlenswert.

Transfer ein absolutes no Go. Mehr Gäste als Platz im Transporter. Ich musste zwischenfahrer und Beifahrer auf einer Holzbox sitzen. Aber in Antalya gott sei dank in einen schönen klimatisierten Reisebus eingestiegen.Busfahrt ist leider sehr lang aber es lohnt sich. Das Frühstück naja muss man nicht haben aber ist ok. Pamakkule selbst kostet extra nochmal 30€ pro Person. Das KleopatraBad kostet ebenfalls extra! Wir hatten 3 Std Zeit Hierapolis zu erkunden. Wenn man alles anschauen will reicht die Zeit leider nicht, aber ist denke Wetterbedingt wir hatten natürlich über 40Grad in der Sonne. Aber definitiv ist es die Reise wert.
Unser Reiseführer Abdul Kaldir war top, sehr freundlich. Man braucht gute Englischkenntnisse!
