Positives: easy booking in the currency you prefer. We chose a trip in English and had an excellent guides. The snorkeling instructor was very nice and looked after our kids well. There was a structure to the day. You can rent snorkeling equipment (we were told life jacket compulsory, not sure it was really the case). Not much walking required so take comfy shoes for swimming/ walking on the sand.
Negatives: mini bus with insufficient air conditioning so the travel wasn't as comfortable as it could be. We had to wait 30 min in the mini bus with no air con on as they were late or there was miscommunication about the pick up place. Really annoying x

The pickup took place within the given time window by minibus. They collected the whole group from different hotels, and we then headed to the snorkeling equipment rental point (around $15 for a full set or $5 per item).
After that, we stopped at a gas station, which was the last chance to use a restroom during the day. Prices there were extremely high! We grabbed a couple of snacks. The restroom conditions were quite poor—no toilet paper and no working flush—which seems to be fairly common in Egypt.
We then drove to Ras Mohammed National Park, where we had to wait in line to enter. By that point, the whole trip had already taken about two hours.
The first stop was snorkeling. People from two buses were combined into one group. The instructor made sure everyone stayed together and that no one touched the corals. The underwater views were absolutely beautiful, but there were a huge number of tourists. At times it felt quite chaotic—people accidentally hitting each other with fins, and some older participants holding onto random strangers just to stay afloat. The instructor had one life ring available, but considering the group size, it would have been better to have 2–3.
After snorkeling, we visited Magic Lake, which honestly looked like a bright blue, pretty puddle. There were hundreds of tiny crabs on the ground. Then we saw a crack formed by an earthquake, mangrove trees, and finally the Allah Gate.
Overall, everything went quite smoothly. The team and instructors were friendly and didn’t pressure anyone into anything. There were photographers with us who actively offered to take photos and even went underwater.
As someone else once described: “well-organized chaos.”

The trip was ok ish apart from the snorkeling where the instructor did not wait for myself and the equipment kept leaking salt water through. No instructions how to snorkle or no safety brief.
Guide was ok as was driver and the rest of the trip was good.
However I am very disappointed about the snorkeling.

We did so much during this trip snorkeling was obviously the best ever, , sampled Bedouin tea and local goods, visited the Mangrove, Gate of Allah, tectonic fault and Magic lake.
We were looked after amazingly well by all members of the guide team, especially being a non-swimmer where the instructor made sure l was calm and completely safe.

It was Great and efficient. Only thing I didn't like was that they didn't warn us it was obligatory to rent fins and jackets. So for each person it is 10 eur. But after they put more on terminal and for 2 person it was 22 euro. Just to rent for a 1 hour. Guide could tell us in advance and we would book it. We would know possible expense at least. Guide was great and proactive!

You spend about half of the time either sitting on the bus or waiting for Italian tourists, who clearly receive much more attention. The guide for other languages could barely put two words together in English, which made communication very difficult.
The snorkeling itself is beautiful, yes, but it takes place in the middle of the desert, with no changing cabins, no comfort, and a large crowd. After snorkeling, we were told to walk back on land, and we got cold. You either have to walk in fins or barefoot over rocks, which is quite unpleasant. The photographer was constantly swimming around us underwater, scaring the fish away and ruining the experience.
If you want to snorkel, it’s much better to go on your own to a beach with a reef — it will be more comfortable, with showers, no crowds, and just as beautiful.
The rest of the program was underwhelming. The so-called earthquake crack is just a small crack in the ground with a tiny puddle. The mangrove trees are nice, yes, but whether they are worth spending half a day of your vacation on — decide for yourself.

I thought it was in mini buses but it was in a big bus which when we were transfered from the minibus to the big bus we had to seat in the back which was the worse sit. The place that we went for snorking was ok but I don't think it was the best. From 5 hrs excursion, more than 3hrs you are waiting or in the bus.

The trip was fantastic, snorkeling to start for over an hour followed by a seat in the shade with the bedouin. Allahs Gate is a nice stop and the mangrove and earth's crack also interesting. But the magic lake is stunning, changing colour depending on the time of day you visit, it really is breathtaking. The guides make the trip, all very patient and kind, no rush or hassle, just a really nice atmosphere throughput the day.

The reef was beautiful and the other activities were great too especially the Magic Lake. Guides were knowledgeable. Recommend a life jacket because we swim out far to the reef and we’re in the water for 45 minutes.

The communication at the beginning of the tour is not good. No one speaks to you until the guide arrives. The trip was late. We went somewhere to get snorkel masks and fins but we didn’t know what we were doing. There weren’t enough seats in the bus for the amount of people in the bus.
The man doing the snorkeling was very pushy about getting tips which we didn’t like.
The scenery and snorkeling is nice but the organisation is not good.

The guide kept going on about me writing my recommendations, I was getting really irritated.
They are talking way too much Italian, yelling in the car.
The guide often forget us and had all his focus on the Italian tourists.
They didn’t ask too take any pictures of us.
While snorkeling they were in such a rush, you didn’t have time to enjoy. We didn’t snorkel for 1,5 hour, because they wanted us to buy things as well.
The coral could have been prettier, it was broken off and dead.
They didn’t mention a stop where you should pay for renting life jacket.
To much focus on buying from different places they recommended.
No stop that included lookout post as described in the time line.

I was on this tour with Alessandro/Islam and whilst the sites at the National Park were amazing, unfortunately Alessandro ruined the whole experience for me and I didn’t get a chance to fully appreciate them.
He phoned me while I was trying to get ready for the trip at 7:35am (35 mins before I was due to be picked up) to wait at another reception gate. I explained to him that I only knew of one and didn’t want to get lost with 2 kids. He kept insisting it’ll be easier for us to walk a little further (in the heat) to be picked up rather than the driver driving to the relevant spot?? In the end I did insist on being picked up where I had initially told them to but it was very frustrating.
Whilst on the tour Alessandro kept singling me out by constantly shouting my name across the minibus and asking me several times “Are you ok? Are you tired? Are you angry? Are you confused?” when all I was trying to do was take in the views during the drive. I kept telling him over and over again that I’m ok but he wouldn’t leave me alone.
It was not nice to be targeted and to have the whole bus staring at me all the time. He continued this at every stop. Where he kept repeating things and taking up my time, instead of letting me have the pleasure of each stop we made. The minibus driver was also shouting out my hotel name randomly throughout the trip whenever we exited and entered the bus.
This was all so unnecessary and nobody else was being treated this way. In fact, none of them shouted out another persons name or hotel name during the trip at all.
There was an English couple there who he didn’t even speak to directly. My children asked me a few times why the tour guide and taxi driver don’t leave me alone. Then at the end (while I was trying to show my children some photos) Alessandro kept asking me how many stars I would give him for a review.
He made me feel very uncomfortable and didn’t allow me to enjoy the trip and relax. Other people on the minibus noticed his unwarranted behaviour too.

We decided to book with this company due to size and reviews. 10 ppl max plus, air-conditioned van. Our guide spoke several languages, English, Italian and Russian. They picked us up at our resort. A photographer came long to take pictures. 1st stop is to rent snorkeling gear. 2nd was a gas station store to buy snacks and use bathroom. Prices are inflated, overpriced. Only EGP or US no credit cards. I decided to leave everything since I know I could buy everything that I had in another store for 200 egp instead of 500 egp. Bring your own snacks and drinks. After 2nd stop you are not going to be able to buy anything inside the national park. Once inside the national park the first stop Snorkeling 1 hr. The Beach is beautiful but also full of trash. I spent my time cleaning the beach together with our driver. You'll find lots of mini plastic cups everywhere and plastic floating in the water and inland. 2nd, 15 min stop was Gate to Allah. Beautiful but crowded. 3rd Magic lake 30 min. Beautiful blue water, breath taking. 4th 10 min, earthquake crack. Its a crack with water. And last stop is Mangrove 15 min. You are not able to go down or touch the water. And you are not allow to wonder. I would have love to wonder around and take additional picture. After that you leave, they make stop and return the rental equipment and b they drop you off.

We had so much fun with Aladdin. He was wonderful, came to every guest, had everyone in view. He's incredible with languages. You almost felt like you were in one-on-one care. The group consisted of 10 people. He gave you a lot of information about the respective stops, but not in such a way that it became long-winded. A truly fascinating hike, not long nor tiring, perfect for enjoying the magic of Ras Mohamed Park. The Easter guide, friendly and prepared, made the experience even more enjoyable. We snorkeled in beautiful waters, always within 20m, surrounded by incredible colors and marine life. Unforgettable is the magical lake, the rift of the ground, the mangroves and of course the Gate of Allah: places that leave you breathless. Very nice also the souvenir offers. The only less positive note: the almost obligatory feeling of having to buy snorkeling equipment.

Il posto è davvero bello, forse i tempi non sono studiati molto bene..c'è poco tempo per godersi il posto e per qualche motivo si spende più tempo ad aspettare in bus gli altri gruppi piuttosto che girare il parco.

Nous avions réservé car était mentionné que nous serions un groupe de 10 personnes max. Et non, nous étions un énorme bus entier. Pas de possibilité de se baigner ou tremper dans le lac (pas le temps selon le guide)

Escursione molto bella, tantissime belle tappe dentro al parco. Barriera corallina molto bella abbiamo visto tanti pesci coloratissimi.
Un po’ lenti con i trasferimenti ma quando si è in gruppo ci sta.

Onestamente, non mi è piaciuto. Posti bellissimi e su questo non si discute. Ma partenza alle 8.35 dal nostro albergo per girare altri 30 minuti per prendere altri. Poi un’ora fermi in uno shop dove si noleggiano maschere e muta nonostante solo uno del gruppo volesse farlo, visto che lo snorkelling era già stato fatto da tutti nei giorni precedenti. Porta di Allah 10 minuti contati, stesso al lago magico e negli altri posti previsti. Abbiamo approfittato della pausa snorkelling per stare un po’ in spiaggia. A mio avviso deve essere organizzata meglio. Dedicare più tempo ai posti da vedere e non correre avanti e dietro.
