Itinerary

Meet your small group and guide for your 1-hour historical walking tour of Jerome at 403 North Clark Street. Meet a little before the tour time you chose.

Follow your guide around historical Jerome as he or she tells you tales of its former residents. Learn about miners, gamblers, and other old west inhabitants. Pass by the ghost town’s first radio station and electric theater. Make a pit stop to check out an old mine’s entrance that’s in the center of the town before learning of secret passageways. Listen to stories of Jerome’s Red Light district that was open until 1918.

Once your tour has come to an end, your guide takes you back to North Clark Street. The rest of the day’s or the night’s is time is in your hands. If you need help thinking of something to do next — just ask your guide. He or she is happy to provide recommendations.

When I signed up for the Jerome ghost town tour, I was imagining an old western movie set with tumbleweeds and saloon doors. Jerome is so much more! Truly a hidden gem, its an old mining town in a weird limbo between decay and revitalization. And it’s got plenty of creepy stories to back up it’s haunted reputation. We loved the tour and browsing the unique art shops.
