TAC Turismo could ruin your vacation, read this before you book

Read this before you consider this tour company. In short, do NOT put yourself on risk by booking through them (𝗧𝗔𝗖 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺𝗼 Agencia de Viajes), it could ruin your entire travel plan in Santiago. Here is my story , I were planning to spend one day in Santiago after finishing the Easter island trip, this day would end with my flight back to the US in mid night. I were planning to make the most out of this day so I’ve booked this half day Santiago city tour for the morning and were planning to do the cable car and museum in the afternoon. 2 days before the tour would start, I sent a message via Viator to confirm the picking up details, by default it should be by 9:30am at my hotel. A msg saying “the pick up time would be confirmed the evening before the tour” came back; fine, then I waited and sent a few other questions the evening before as well as the early morning of the scheduled tour. Being afraid of missing the shuttle, I waited 15min before 9:30am in the lobby just in case of missing the driver. After that, 1 hour and 15min passed, no one showed up. The worst part of this experience was that the tour operator never responded to my phone call, WhatsApp, and Viator messages. Not only did I try, the hotel receptionist was feeling miserable for my situation and had tried contacting the tour operator too. Outcome is the same , NO one was responding. Finally at 10:30am (1 hour passing the scheduled start time), an indifferent msg via Viator finally arrived saying “the tour was full”, What the Xxx! My morning plan was ruined and if I knew they are like this I would have picked another tour operator and would have finished half of the morning excursion already. Because of this horrible tour operator, I don’t have the time the opportunity to book another city tour and my afternoon plan was also impacted. Apparently the tour operator doesn’t feel sorry, as No apologies were made from them. Stay away from 𝗧𝗔𝗖 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺𝗼 Agencia de Viajes, esp. if you don’t want to risk ruining your trip in Santiago

Good morning, I'll be precise in my answer: we worked on December 31st until 2:00 PM and we didn't work on January 1st. You made your reservation on the 31st at 10:00 PM and on January 2nd we had no more spaces available for any tour. As you can understand, we couldn't take you on the tour. To avoid this happening to you again, please make your reservations in advance. And if you want to explain something I haven't explained, please make your comment shorter and more precise. Don't be a bother. Goodbye.
