Alberto was friendly and enthusiastic about this hike. This hike is special because original tree and plant-life have been preserved in the state park. Additionally there is a small canyon that had a cute waterfall! There are birds tucked away in the chaparral - California Scrub Jay and California Thrasher were seen.
Alberto is very familiar with the trail. He skillfully shares his knowledge of nature, geography, and local Culture at a good balance of moving and pauses.
The views of the ocean and Los Angeles, from the trail summit were spectacular.
Very enjoyable!
