Experience a real, live rodeo right in the heart of Texas at the Tejas Rodeo Company just north of San Antonio. Your general admission ticket grants you access to all the fun on Saturday nights. Guests can watch the opening ceremony, the longhorn cattle entrance, bull riding, barrel racing, and much more during the evening. After the rodeo, enjoy a live country and western band at the covered pavilion.

Dress for the weather, but the show and atmosphere were great! We got there early to find seats in the general admissions area- glad we did, as seating was tight and filled quickly. Fun show, great crowd, really enjoyed our experience.

Very family friendly and fun. Kids 12 and under get to participate. Cowboys and cowgirls pour their heart into riding.

Off the beaten path, but fun time for the entire family. Good food, environment, entertainment, and music. Uber provided transportation to and from our resort in San Antonio.

Such a family-friendly night out! We made reservations at the Steakhouse & Saloon and highly recommend: it was a busy night but our server, Olivia, was friendly and very good! The KC 2oz steaks were tasty. The only thing to note is that food service was a little slow- probably due to crowds; give your reservation at least an hour prior to the 7:30pm rodeo start. We had general admission tickets (I don’t know that I knew about reserved seating, or it wasn’t available when we purchased… ) but I probably would have preferred reserved seating just to get us closer and to avoid the short hunt and squeeze-in to general admission seating. The rodeo is exceptionally family friendly and we were really pleased with the quality of the competition, master of ceremonies, music, lighting, and show-flow. Following the rodeo, there was super fun hoedown with live band that was well-attended by all! The extra food & merch vendors on-site were additional fun! Had a local + tourist-friendly feel and we would recommend highly for any visitors!

The rodeo was very entertaining with multiple activities including children trying to ride sheep. Definitely must try to be seated for pre-rodeo show an hour earlier as seating was tight with groups having difficulty sitting together.

It was a neat experience. Much the same as other rodeos we go to. It would have been nice to have a program of events to know what was coming up next.

Of all the touristy things one could do in San Antonio, NOTHING BEATS THIS uncitified, RL Texas country RODEO with music and dancing and BBQ and FUN FUN FUN!!! WE HAD A BLAST!!! SO HAPPY we found this event to book on Viator and count it as our best experience of the entire vacation!! Thank you Viator!!!

Great experience. Show was excellent as well as the food. Would have liked to stay for the dancing but the location was rather far from my hotel and I was afraid of not being able to secure transportation. Next I visit I will rent a car so I could stay longer.

What a night! Such a fun experience. Really enjoyed watching all the events! The host pumped up the crowd and had the show running smoothly. Fun dancing after as well! Recommend coming an hour or more early to get a seat and check out the food and small stores. Will definitely come back to the Rodeo!

This is authentic Texas. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth delicious as the rest of the food. There were families and young couples enjoying
the different restaurants, food options, music and awesome rodeo. In addition to the steakhouse, there were also lock up counters. Reach, you could buy baskets of brisket and sides, Et cetera. There's also several different bars and a stage for live music once the video is over. It was a very enjoyable evening.

It's in the country away from the city. Use Uber. Wear close shoes & bring a cushion to sit on. Drink lots of water.

This was an awesome experience. It is fun for all ages. I brought my 74 yr old mom and my daughter - it was a great time. Definitely suggest reading the details in the emails sent and get there a little early to get a good seat. It will fill up fast. After the rodeo there was a band and dancing. Overall, a nice atmosphere.

Had a great time at the rodeo. When you walk in, they have a mechanical bull, Little kiosks selling items selling food and drinks and a restaurant on site and a big area with picnic tables where the band was setting up.

It was good. Kids had fun. The restaurant was good food. Workers were rude.Had to sit in patio with handicap son and it was 100 degrees had to ask for a umbrella for our outdoor patio seats.Would not eat there again. I could have ate ate Golden corral and what have been treated a lot nicer.

This feedback was surprising, as we typically hear just the opposite with many of our guests going out of their way to compliment the kindness and hospitality of our team. That said, we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
We were able to review your reservation and noticed it was made online the day of your visit and was specifically booked for patio seating. This time of year in Texas it can be very hot as was the case the evening you joined us. We’re sorry if indoor dining wasn’t an option at the time you made the reservation as our Steakhouse dining room does tend to book up well in advance, especially on busy holiday weekends like Memorial Day. In speaking with the team they were happy to bring you an umbrella upon your request and were truly sorry to hear you felt they were anything less than willing to help.
We’re glad to hear everyone enjoyed the food and had fun! We hope yall were able to make some great family memories and would love the opportunity to be able to serve you again.

It was a nice night.. Totally freezing for April and stands are uncomfortable. The food is WAY WAY overpriced. Almost $20 for a hamburger and some undercooked fries. $3 for a bottle of water

The rodeo was fun and exciting. There were lots of events to see and the crowd was engaged. Seating for the general public is first come first serve. The steakhouse on the premises had tasty food. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to experience a Texas rodeo.
