The operator said that they will send my tickets to my apartment. I had contacted the operator so many times and said they will send the tickets. But It didn't happen, until 1 hour before departured they sent e ticket by wa.The payment had been done since I booked the tickets.
So I read the reviews customers, there was so many people who was disappointed and didn't get their tickets.
I think you should take down that operator. It's very make us stressful. We changed our plan to "plan B", we had to make any decision, because if not all the trip will be changed. I had booked a minivan to Samarkhan, and finally we had to cancel at the last minutes, and we had to pay some money because that cancelation.

Tickets were received on Whatsapp about 1 hour before departure. There was a transfer included to the station from our hotels. The communication via Whatsappp was really good. I would recommend this service.

All worked very well, finally. Only what caused a bit concern was that the voucher arrived only one day before the trip (as the trains are often fully booked I made my reservation more than week before). As a first timer in booking tickets via Viator I was a bit unsure whether the ticket would be delivered or not. It also surprised that I got only voucher, not the ticket. However, after whatsapp information I learned day before that the ticket would be delivered to my hotel and the guy was there exactly as promised. He also instructed me very carefully about the procedures at the railway station. All good :-)

Avoid the tour agency GoToUzbekistan at all costs. If there was a negative star option, I would give it that.
I booked "guaranteed high-speed train tickets" from Bukhara to Samarkand and Samarkand to Tashkent through Viator, and this was without question the most stressful experience of our entire trip.
Several days before our scheduled travel date (Monday, March 30), I still had not received any ticket information. I contacted GoToUzbekistan multiple times through Viator and was repeatedly told they would “send it soon” and that they were “working on it.” This turned into frustrating back-and-forth messages on WhatsApp and phone calls, with the same repeated "we will send soon".
To make matters even more confusing, the day before our Bukhara to Samarkand journey, they sent us our Samarkand to Tashkent high-speed train tickets for Thursday, April 2, yet still failed to send the tickets we actually needed first. At that point, I assumed the Bukhara to Samarkand tickets would follow shortly.
They never did.
At 6am on Monday, March 30, we still had nothing, I whatsapp messaged the provider who said "the train wouldn't leave until 3pm and that would send us the tickets soon". At 9am they stopped answering their phone entirely — no response, no update, no support. Even Viator attempted to contact them and was unable to reach anyone. By around 10am, we were extremely worried. Our hotel even tried calling GoToUzbekistan on our behalf, only to find the line was going to a "not in service” message.
We had to be in Samarkand by 5:30pm that day, and the train was due to depart Bukhara at 3pm. The main reason we booked the high-speed train was because it was supposed to be a 2-hour journey. By noon, we still had no tickets, and with a 30-minute drive from the hotel to the train station, we could no longer afford to wait around to see if the tickets would show up.
At that point, we had no choice but to pay extra out of pocket and have the hotel urgently arrange a taxi so we could get to Samarkand.
What should have been a 2-hour high-speed train journey turned into a 5-hour car drive from Bukhara to Samarkand.
Advertising “guaranteed” train passes and then completely failing to provide them, while ignoring customers on the day of travel, is unacceptable and highly misleading. This caused unnecessary stress, additional expense, and seriously disrupted our trip.
I would strongly caution anyone considering booking with Viator and with this company. Based on our experience, they were unreliable, unresponsive, and failed to provide the service they sold.
Frankly, Viator should not be doing business with a company that already has so many negative reviews. I regret not reading them beforehand. Viator also failed to make the situation right — despite the circumstances, they refused to arrange or reimburse the taxi we were forced to pay for because of their supplier’s failure.
What kind of service is this when customers do not receive tickets at least 24 hours before travel? Nowhere when I purchased the tickets with Viator did it say that we might have to wait until the very last minute in order to receive them. Based on how this was handled, it gave the impression that the tickets may not have actually been secured despite being advertised as “guaranteed.”
Unbelievable.

We also sent your Samarkand–Tashkent ticket earlier as soon as it became available, while your Bukhara–Samarkand ticket was still being processed by the system — not delayed intentionally.

This is a scam. Do not use the train ticket service. It is unreliable and extremely expensive. You may not get the tickets you pay for.
The operator resells train tickets at a massive markup but they are selling tickets they do not hold. They wait for cancelled tickets to become available and sell them on. We were told this is likely illegal, involving on selling of tickets issued to civil servants. There is also nothing to stop you just monitoring the cancellations yourself on the official website and paying far less.
Even if that doesn’t bother you, the real problem is that the tickets may not even become available - there is no guarantee. In our case we paid $280 for $100 of tickets and THERE WERE NO TICKETS. The operator contacted us a few hours before we were due to travel and informed us no tickets were available. We then experienced a very stressful morning rescheduling and trying to find alternative options.
Avoid this service unless you want to risk being left with your plans disrupted, and no travel options. Viator really should not be hosting this provider.

I made the purchase but only got the actual tickets a few minutes before the departure time. This was an issue because getting Wifi while traveling is tricky. I had to ask repeatedly for my tickets. Tickets should be delivered shortly if not immediately after purchase. Not recommended.

At midnight 6 hours before the train, I had to call, use WhatsApp, and Gmail as well to contact the ticket vendor. They had not provided the ticket after the credit card made payment, or the day before travel, or even within 12 hours of the train departure. Only when pressed, they got the ticket to me as “guaranteed” and also sent a taxi to take me to Tashkent train station; I did not even know which train station we were leaving from.
By 3pm, I was contacting the ticket vendor because I had not seen the ticket and the train ride back was at 4:40. The vendor gave many excuses and said the 440 train was delayed until five. Then when I followed up again, he asked whether I would I take the 540 train because the UNESCO convention was here. His story kept changing. I said I’d prefer the 440 original schedule. Next he said am I OK with the 540 and I said no. He said only the 540 is available also I demanded a discount. He ultimately sent me the 540 and said it was “business class." When I asked what that means and whether I get food, he said you get everything. In fact, other than the VIP sign on the door. There was nothing else no amenities, food, or drinks that came with the “business class.“ Customer members need to be aware of this ticket vendor. It should not take this many emails, text, calls, WhatsApp messages for ticket they would end up producing anyway.

Great train with wonderful lunch incluided.
Only negative part is that you have to wait until morning of your trip to collect tickets ,and while we have been not prepared for it ,it was annoying. And Uzbek company works very slow to lower stress occured.

Booked a return Afrosiyob ticket for Tashkent-Samarkand. The outbound e-ticket was sent me to the day before travelling, however I was disappointed to not receive the return ticket. Despite this being advertised as a "guaranteed" service, at the very last minute I was told that no Afrosiyob tickets were available. However they were helpful enough to arrange a regular Sharq train ticket for later that night, and by means of amapology to organise a free taxi pickup at Tashkent station

Biglietti prenotati con 2 mesi di anticipo in quanto impossibile comprarli direttamente dal sito ufficiale (accettano solo carte uzbeke). Ho specificato tutti i dati, compresi i n.di passaporto, e chiesto un treno specifico. Scrivo diverse volte al numero whatsapp e mi dicono sempre che i biglietti li consegnano in hotel il giorno prima della partenza. Il giorno antecedente scrivo spesso ma dei biglietti nessuna traccia. Arrivo ad arrabbiarmi, specificando anche di averli già pagati e profumatamente questi biglietti. A mezzanotte li mandano via whatsapp per un treno diverso da quello richiesto. Purtroppo però io non ho una soluzione diversa da consigliare

Ho comprato i biglietti su Viator due mesi prima. Mi è stato consegnato un voucher ma non i biglietti... continuavo a contattare l'operatore e continuava a dirmi che li avrei avuti presto.
La faccio breve: avevo il treno alle 9 del mattino, i biglietti mi sono arrivati in pdf via whatsapp a mezzanotte della sera prima (...e sul biglietto data ed ora di acquisto erano delle 23.54 significa che nonostante avessi pagato 2 mesi prima i biglietti sono stati comprati poche ore prima dalla partenza).
Viaggiavamo in due ed i posti non erano vicini ed in più di spalle al senso di marcia (ricordo che io ho pagato DUE MESI prima, c'era tutto il tempo di scegliere dei posti buoni).
Sapevo che con l'agenzia avrei pagato di più (praticamente il doppio!) ma mi andava bene per avere un buon servizio, ho sbagliato: ho pagato di più, sono stato in ansia fino all'ultimo e ho avuto brutti posti. :-(
