Excellent organised tour, Mahad was an excellent tour guide.

We were really looking forward to this experience and it mostly lived up to expectation. Mahad was friendly, warm and hospitable - couldn't have looked after us any better. He was very detailed in explaining things to us and patient with any questions. It also meant we could see quite a few important sights in a short time period - Wadi Dawkah, Ubar from the outside and obviously the Lost Quarter. We also felt we got some special insight that we wouldn't had he not been there. The only reason we haven't given 5 stars is we were looking forward to having shisha under the stars near the campfire, this is also something we requested specifically in our booking - unfortunately the campsite had ran out of molasses so we could not have this and we were quite disappointed as it would have made the experience perfect. I think in future maybe keeping some molasses in the car with all the other supplies might be wise especially if it has been requested in the booking. I thought long and hard about mentioning this as everything else was perfect, but both of us couldn't help be very disappointed by not having this experience we were specifically looking forward to. Ending on a more positive note we particularly enjoyed the fresh camel milk Mahad got for us from the camel farm he took us to so we could meet some camels which was unexpected but fun! The camp was also very comfortable and we slept extremely well in the traditional tents and waking up for the beautiful desert sunset was magical.
