Tanja was an amazing Guide through the City of Rotterdam. She not only was prepared professionally but she also had answers to our questions and a biiiig warm-hearted smile and being.

Knowledgable guide, showed us all important sites/buildings, spent extra time with us to finish the tour and gave us recommendations on restaurants.

Silvia was very informative, and the tour was a very interesting way to get to know Rotterdam’s past, present and future. Not only was she knowledgeable, but she was very engaging, adapting her content to the nationalities and interests within the group.

Tania gave my wife and I a fabulous architectural tour of Rotterdam. Besides pointing out the relevant features of the buildings, she explains how the City center was rebuilt after WWII. And what challenges the City faces today. Tania is friendly and open, happy to talk about any questions you might have.

Overall, we had a pleasant walking tour with our guide, Sylvia. I wouldn't call this a strictly architecture tour, as there was quite a bit said about social activism and the quasi-socialist function of the different structures along the route. As an architect, I would have appreciated more focus on the constructability and actual design aspects of the various buildings. I also wished the tour included a visit, even if brief, to the cube houses shown in the tour photos. Instead, we passed by them at a distance rather than actually walking through them. Aside from those minor points of constructive criticism, Sylvia did a good job. Be prepared for a walk; I believe we walked close to 12,000 steps on this tour alone.

Excellent guide! Appreciated her flexibility with a time change, and she was very educated on all the places she showed us. The tour was informative and entertaining and she answered so many of our questions. Great photo opportunities and a beautiful city.

Silvia was an excellent guide, covered really interesting aspects of the city without making the tour feel rushed.

Very interesting tour - we weren’t sure what to expect but we were very pleasantly surprised with the interesting buildings and history provided with the reconstruction post WWII - very enjoyable!

Our guide had trained as an architect and clearly knew her stuff. She provided good historic and contemporary context for what we were seeing. We did this as a day trip from Amsterdam and it was well worth it.

We where very lucky as we where the only 2 that booked this tour so had a private tour which we where able to ask as many questions as we wanted and had. Our tour guide was brilliant and could answer all our questions with her Architectural knowledge

Very nice and interesting walking tour, with the beautifull colours of the sunset!
Tania, our guide, knew every detail about the buildings we admired in the city.

Rotterdam’s modernist architecture and the history of how it came to be is fascinating. Silvia, our tour guide, was wonderful. Her perspective and knowledge as an architect was great, but her insights as someone who’s lived in and loves Rotterdam also added a personal and human touch. She answered every question, spent a half hour more with us than the set tour time and made for one of the best experiences we had in the Netherlands.

brilliant tour!!! Really nice and very knowable guide. Would definitely go again.
Our only problem was that the meeting point was not clear. the meeting point address was a bit different to the map provided and different to the actual meeting place.

Our guide Tania was very good! We enjoyed her insights as to how the Rotterdam architecture was planned and developed.
Catherine_R, May 2023
Silvia was a fantastic tour guide and brought the history of modern architecture in Rotterdam to life. She's very knowledgeable, well-spoken, with a good sense of humor and excellent communication skills. She answered all our questions and made some excellent suggestions and offered many helpful insights. Ours was a small group of six and she went out of her way to address individual interests. Highly recommended and would be happy to take another tour with her in the future.

Terrific overview of the city. We started at the central station and spent a lot of time there. Branched out from there. Only disappointment was that we didn’t cover any of the old area which was right around the corner. Our guide was on time and well organized. We were only a group of five, and that was very enjoyable. And our guy was primarily a Spanish speaker, but had very good English. I will admit it took me a bit of time to understand her sometimes. Unfortunately it was a very cold day. The breeze is icy that comes off of the nearby water. Would highly recommend the cruise on a warmer and sunnier day.

Excellent city tour. Tania was particularly exhaustive and friendly! She elucidated everything in detail and always added astonishing stories and actualities.
You can tell that Tania loves this city and its evolution.
We recommend everybody to discover Rotterdam throughout this tour.
Bedankt Tania
