Hidden Gem

What a great experience! This place is absolutely gorgeous, on a waterfront cove with gardens and wildlife, and worth a stop just for that. But the mobile app walking tour we did was so cool. We've never seen anything like it! After watching the videos of historians dressed in period costumes and completing the trivia challenges, we learned about this hidden gem which is a major historic site, from early colonial history (Great Swamp Fight/King Philip’s War), Roger Williams' trading post, the connections to the American Revolution and lots more. Now that we know this place is here, we'll come back to take a tour of the inside of the museum, picnic by the water, and hear their educational lectures. If you love American history, this is a must-see.
