Death ride through the park

I would not recommend going in this particular tour because you may end up with the same driver and tour guide as I did. The driver was going 45 to 50 on a washboard Road turn it going up and around. Turns inside the park many times I was bounced 2 inches out of the seat and I weigh 248 pounds. In addition many times the coach skid when I was turning around the corners. One instance there was a big yellow maintenance truck coming up over the hill. The driver had to move over to make sure that he didn’t hit it. It slowed down and we started sliding keeping in mind that this was on the side of a Mountain Tour guide did not even try to have the driver slow down or drive in a more normal pace, so she is culpable in this also. this took place when I was noticing we were 2 feet from the guard whale with a 40 or 50 foot drop off to the right at best driver was incompetent at worst. He was outright dangerous and a threat to the van and the tourist.

Your comment is unfounded according to Chilean traffic law: In urban areas: 1.1. Vehicles with less than 3,860 kilograms of gross vehicle weight and motorcycles: 60 kilometers per hour. 1.2. Vehicles with more than 17 seats, including the driver's seat, buses, trucks with 3,860 kilograms of gross vehicle weight or more and school transport vehicles: 50 kilometers per hour. and the vehicle was traveling between 45 to 50 kilometers per hour You also forgot to mention that he was rude from the beginning of the tour, he treated the guide badly, he yelled at the driver and complained all the time Of the 15 passengers, only you complained, everyone else told us that the tour was excellent!

We had a trip booked for today (10/4/2024) and our pick up time was 5:30 am. We are waiting in the lobby and there is no one showing to pick us up. So I contacted the number shown on Viator and when they answered they didn’t even had our names on the list. They asked me why I didn’t call yesterday, I told them I thought they had everything in under control, but they didn’t. They didn’t communicate with us at all and I believe if you are a tourist agency, you need to contact your passengers to confirm the tour. Sadly we go back to the US tomorrow and won’t be able to take the tour.

We did not have the minimum number of people to do the tours and that is what is done in this situation. We tried to send it to another Agency but no one had a way out The passenger didn't get along with us when she had to do it either. The refund was also made

We had problem with the tour operator ( Punta Arena Tours). They did not provide us the details untill we were able to contact them. They were not answering our calls, so we decided to go to thier office. But the office does not exists! After multiple failed attempts, I seek help from Unidad de Informaciones Dirección Regional de Turismo Magallanes y Antártica Chilena at Downtown Punta Arena. One officer was able to contact the tour operator on phone and confirmed our pick time for next morning at 5.30. Tour guide was knowledgeable. But it could have been better. I would suggest to book the similar tour with different operator.

This person didn't wait for us to finish serving a passenger who was talking to us before he did on WhatsApp That's why he got angry. If we answered him, he was rude and made angry faces If we didn't exist, how did Tours do it then? Bad-tempered person

The beauty of the park. The cave tour was ok and required a lot of climbing on uneven terrain. The guide, in the beginning appeared to favor the Spanish speaking passengers. He progressively spoke more in English although often difficult to understand due to his heavy accent. Driver was great and we were confident in our safety for the very long drive.

Beautiful Day in Torres del Paine

It was an amazing experience! If you have one day to spend in Torres del Paine, this is the best way to do it. Our tour guide Atma and driver Don Juan were the best! Atma was very informative and conducted the tour in very efficient way. We were picked up around 5.15 am from Punta Arenas and we finished the tour around 9 pm.

If You Have Only A Day, Go for This Tour

I loved the tour and I’m so happy I managed to see all the best and most important spots in the park within a day. The guide Atma is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. I enjoyed hos stories. The tour itself is a long ride, I think we covered more than 700km which means we spent a lot of time in the van. That’s the only drawback but I understand there was no other way. However, if you have more time, I’d recommend renting a car and going slowly, at your own pace.

The park was fantastic; but aviator’s website needs work. We were not told of a separate $150 (for three) until AFTER paying Viator. Also aviator’s website c/h/simply moved info the the government’s Park application. Finally, Viator told us there w/b no opportunity to purchase lunch/dinner — but that was incorrect

An excellent tour of Torres Del Paine national park

Max and his buddy driver (sorry, forgot the name) were extremely good in making sure that all the important places/spots in the park are covered. The tour started early at 5:15am with hotel pickup and ended at around 9:20pm with hotel drop off. They covered a distance of about 800+ kilometers during this period which is impressive. There were snack and lunch breaks throughout the day. I also encourage other tour participants to write reviews on this team to make others aware of their wonderful job.

Lot of driving and less sight seeing!

This is a marathon tour - took us 16 hours. It attempts to touch and go major attractions, but most of the times you are sitting on the bus! Pick up was offered and we were told to be picked up between 5 to 5.30am. We stood outside at the pickup point from 5am (in the cold/windy weather) and they finally picked us up at 6.20am. We got the last row seats (full bus - 16 total people including guide) - packed like sardines! Its a lot of driving and not enough time to see anything. Its a very rushed tour. In retrospect, we should have stayed at Puerto Natales and may be do day trips from there. Bus driver drove very fast (even on bumpy/bad roads) and was weaving around- perhaps he thought he was driving a motorcycle! He attempted to drive around pot holes like a bike! At the back row it was tough! May be front of the bus wouldn't notice that much! Also my camera equipment took a beating. Guide Kathy was nice and she explained in english/spanish both.But failed to keep the group together like other tour guides.

A very good trip

This is a very good trip worth every penny. The itinerary covers over 800 km. The sights are spectacular. Make sure you bring a lot of snacks because there is no stop fo lunch (in the morning there is a stop for a quick breakfast).

Il tour è stato meraviglioso soprattutto per chi non ha molto tempo. Pensavo fosse più faticoso ma nelson e kathy sono stati molto gentili e hanno reso il viaggio davvero comodo e sicuro. Kathy ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni e ha soddisfatto le nostre curiosità. Varie soste per la toilette. Organizzazione eccellente.
