Amazing your. All the guides were very knowledgeable. The pick up was early in the center of the city. The first stop was Isla Marta, it was fun to watch the sea lions but definitely the best was saved for the last. Isla Magdalena was absolutely stunning. I have never seen that many penguins ever. Probably have seen more than thousand. It was so fulfilling to see those amazing creatures. Highly recommended.

Such a wonderful adventure to see the penguins!
They a very careful to ensure we maintain the penguin habitat untouched.
The boat ride to get to the island is not for the faint of heart. Very bumpy ride to the island but the visit was completely worthwile.

Excellent tour. Spent 30 minutes hovering next to beach to observe Sea Lions and then went and spent 1 hour walking among the penguins, sea gulls and other nesting birds. Just awesome! Great boat and crew. They focus on insuring the guests get to see everything they can while on board. Hot drinks and snacks also included.

Our expectations were a bit higher than what we experienced - based on the description and photos on the trip advertising. The trip on a single hull small boat was a bit rough; and the passenger across from us was not feeling good most of the trip. I would suggest looking for the same itinerary on a larger catamaran boat (we saw one on the same journey). Marta Island wtih the sea lions was viewed from quite a distance from shore and without a set of binoculars or a telephoto lens, one couldn't see much detail. And the approach of the boat was into the sun, so viewing and picture taking was a bit challenging. Magdalena Island was as expected, and it was fun to see the Penguins up close. All-in-all a good trip. The crew was friendly and helpful. My suggestions would be looking for a larger catamaran boat offering the same itinerary and a good set of binoculars.

There are limited penguin species on the island and so we walk around the island hoping to see other species and alas, no.
Also, difficult hear to hear the guide speaking his English on a broadcaster that was poor quality.

Because of the weather we couldn't go to marta Island. I asked for a partial refund and told me it's not possible.
You should also check the price at the travel agency for a possible better price

Everything was perfect. The check in process was efficient and we were on the road by 6:40 AM. They don't serve a formal meal during the tour, so try to eat before or bring some food. They do serve some coffee/tea and a snack around 9 AM. We were back at around 11:20 AM. The boats were very clean and comfortable. I was worried because I often get seasick, but I had no problems on this boat.

Penguins were amazing to see! The tour size was 3 bus full but it was nice because the boat was huge and covered from the elements. Had ample time to walk around and see the penguins. Snacks and coffee/hot chocolate provided on the boat. Guides were friendly and knowledgeable.

The trip leaves super early in the morning before the winds pick up. This meant that we were able to see the penguins when other companies couldn't make the trip. Solo Expeditions has a fleet of new catamarans that can handle rough seas. Take sea sickness medicine if you are prone to it. Our trip back to town was rough.

We really enjoyed the experience in every way! From the planning and prep to the flexible and convenient payment process it was flawless. And the trip itself was wonderful and we enjoyed it immensely. The hosts made it entertaining and informative and could not have asked for a better time. We had a great experience seeing penguins, sea lions, dolphins, and many other birds. The boat ride was not very choppy. We did the tour with our two children who are 4 and 6. They enjoyed the tour as much as we did. I fully recommend it!

To start: the tour was fantastic. The guides were amazing, the wildlife viewing was fantastic, and the boat ride was outstanding!
The only issue was the administration/organization/ticketing. We were told to be there by 630. When we arrived, there was a line out the door of people waiting. We then spend nearly an hour in line as they checked tickets/registered people before we got on the bus. This was inexcusable as this is highly avoidable. PLEASE streamline this process to have everyone fill out paperwork before. Or have people come at different times to avoid waiting in line so long.
Moreover, when we got to the boat, the tour company had missed two of the guests, and we ended up sitting and waiting on the boat for them for over half an hour.
Again, the experience was great, but they need to steam line administration to avoid the nearly 2 hours we spent just waiting around.

Wonderful adventure with great knowledge and friendly staff. Very organized, expect to be cold and somewhat wet depending on the weather that day. Fun adventure with memorable moments with sea lions and lots and lots of penguins.

We enjoyed and appreciated the experience and the staff. We had access to unlimited coffee and tea, which is great, especially in the early morning. My only qualm was the boat being 25km north of the city, just a detail I missed, not their fault! Check in could be better organized, took 40 minutes and we were 15 min early. There were some whales and dolphins out during our boat ride, which was also great. Bathrooms could use attention and cleaning, no running water, so only hand sanitizer to keep clean. Staff were all fantastic and friendly.

I love penguins, so this was one of the highlights of my life. I was in ‘penguin heaven’! We were fortunate to have a good weather day and not a lot of wind. Returning g to the boat and getting g hot chocolate and cookies was a treat. The boat came very close to the shore on Marta Island to view the sea lions. This trip was well worth the mo ey!

Our tour guide Sebastian is professional, patient and kind. The journey was well organized, smooth and on-time. It seems Sebastian knows how to communicate with the penguins as he "ushered" them out of the trail when they were chilling in a group in front of us. If you have half a day in Punta Arenas, highly recommend this tour to see Magellanic penguins and sea lions.

It was a fantastic trip for us to see the Penguins, Sea Lions, Seals, and other rare birds. There was good communication from the operator. We reached the meeting point, boarded the bus and then the ferry. The ferry crew was lovely.
I'd highly recommend the trip.
