This was such a great tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable! He taught us so much about the history of Pula. We saw everything we wanted to see! And ended at The Fortress which was also our list of things to do in Pula. He was very kind and wish we could take him to the rest of Croatia with us.
Walking tour of historic Pula hit all the highlights and left us time to explore the city on our own afterward. 1.5 hours allowed us to visit Roman ruins, the shopping district, food market, and remains of Croatia’s warring history. We did not enter any sites or buildings including the Arena. The guide was friendly and informative, and kept my teens’ interest. Thank you, Jane, for a great recommendation.
Saw and heard the history of Pula from 3000 years ago to the present day via this informative, picture worthy, from a knowledgeable, licensed local! Time & Money well spent!
Other than a small mishap with where the app sent us for the meeting Point. (this is always frustrating when you don’t know where you are supposed to be. The meeting Point is at the entry)
The tour itself was very good showing some hidden gems of Pula. And our guide was well versed in his history of Croatia and was very passionate on his subject.
The obvious main attraction was the Amphitheatre. For us more information and a closer inspection even from the outside would have made this tour even better.
Having had spent three weeks already in Croatia half a day is more than adequate to spend in Pula.

Very good knowledge of the city and region
We learned so much from the trained and knowledgeable guide, he brought history alive for us as we visited many 2,000 year old buildings around Pula, starting with the incredible Pula Roman amphitheatre. We learned a lot about Croatian history too.
Our Guide was competent, thorough, and ready to answer our questions. The sites were beautifully selected and sequenced. We enjoyed the visit to Pula's Roman monuments tremendously and we would recommend it to anyone.
The guide was great, funny and helpful. He gave us a good sense of the history of Pula and good recommendations for lunch at the end of our tour.

You'll wander through the ancient Roman city - seeing both Byzantine and Roman artifacts. The mosaics, which are not highlighted in the guidebooks, are truly incredible to see. From there, you'll head to the “new” Pula, see the Austro-Hungarian influences, and stroll through the bustling market.
