This is a very good introduction to horseback riding. It’s very safe. The animals are very much used to the path and the people and the staff is most attentive. I highly recommend this for anybody that has no experience with horses or has children that went to ride for the first time..

The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. The horses were well cared for, beautiful, and the scenery was just lovely. We had a blast!

Fabulous ride on trails and a bit on the beach. Horses were great as was the owner/guide. Perfect for beginners. Would highly recommend.

Could have been better.

We were not allowed to bring our cameras for safety purposes. And we were told that pictures would be taken of us and then sent to us electronically. All of that happened. But the only picture they sent us were the ones of us standing in front of the stable. They didn’t provide any pictures of us riding the horses. Also, it’s a good idea to bring bug spray with you, which we may have missed, but we didn’t see on the website and when we checked in, it was said to us that we should’ve brought some with us.

Our ride time was delayed by about 30minutes. We enjoyed an icecream cone, as we waited. The ride was well worth the wait.

Only a small portion of the ride is on the beach. It does one way and then back the other way for maybe 10 mins of the ride. The rest of the ride is on trails. It's definitely designed for kids not adults.

I took two of my grand-children ages 13 and 17. They really enjoyed it . The staff were great and gave us lots of information about the stable , their horses and good direction on our ride and what to expect. I would recommend this experience to all.

Brudenell Beginners horse ride was memorable

We very much enjoyed this horse riding experience! The tour recommended an arrival at least 15 minutes in advance. We ended up arriving around 45 minutes early, but since there was time needed to match the rider with the appropriate horse, get some basic instructions and put on the gear, our time was well-used so that we were able to enjoy the approximate 50+ minutes of this experience. Though it was rainy, the ride was very memorable and the horses were well trained for beginners. After marching through a nature trail way in the woods, we came out on the beach during low tide. Even with the wind and rain, it was a lot of fun. Our advice is to bring some patience and give yourself plenty of time to be ready so that you can get the most out of your experience. The staff was friendly and there were photos taken during the ride (photos were later sent via email for a nominal fee). I felt the photos were of good quality, so we purchased them. There is a restroom at the office, which is good for before or after the ride.

We had a very nice time on our trail ride. The guides were very thoughtful about rider abilities and safety. The horses were very sweet and we enjoyed a nice easy walk on a wooded trail and the beach.
