It was a fantastic day! We were picked up at the pier by jeep and drove to ADDO National Park. We saw lots of animals, and our guide, Steve, was fantastic! The braai was fantastic! We would definitely book the tour again.

Fabulous helpful efficient staff from booking to the guide we had for the day. The lunch provided was a BBQ and it was amazing. Our ship brought its boarding time forward and this was accommodated

Comfortable & well run tour of Addo Park with a nice bbq lunch..
Timely pick up at ship, nice enclosed vehicle with high seating & good viewing which was important in the weather conditions. Lots of Elephabts and other animals. Plenty to eat at the bbq lunch.

Great trip..but hated the room overlooking the promenade. Configuration is very odd..difficult to move around and you have to keep drapes closed all the time so others do not invade your privacy.

Excellent tour with pickup from the cruise port; they waited patiently as disembarkation was delayed.
Safari was fantastic and guide Mostaff was great, informing us about the park and ensuring we saw as many animals as possible. Many elephants, zebras, warthogs, cape buffalo, tortoise, hyena, dung beetles and the park's two male lions, and more.
Braai lunch was excellent with lots of food, beer and wine.
First safari for us and it was even better than we'd hoped.

Our guide Stephen was very kind and accommodating. He was full of information about South Africa and its wildlife. The 4x4 was clean, roomy, and allowed everyone great views of the animals. We saw many, many, elephants, zebras, and other animals. The Braai was FANTASTIC food, and elegantly served. One of our party is vegetarian, and they not only accommodated her diet too, but she said it was the best she’s had this trip. We had sooo much fun on this tour. I cannot recommend it enough!

We booked our trip from the cruise terminal in Port Elizabeth. Due to high winds our arrival was delayed by 75 minutes. We communicated with Clint at Addo Adventure who was fantastic. He advised us to just get there as soon as we could and our driver would be there.
We also added two friends from the ship onto the tour the night before arrival.
Our vehicle was a clean, proper Safari Vehicle with tall windows and everyone had a window seat.
Steve our guide was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable, a great communicator and very helpful. Not only did he guide us and drive us but he also made us Tea and Coffee late morning and grilled us a fabulous lunch in the park a little later. We appreciated that we did not have a 2 hour “sit down” lunch and were back out looking for the Big 5 as soon as we wanted to be.
Overall superb day, well oiled and we took home wonderful memories and extraordinary pictures.

We were picked up at the cruise port for the half hour drive to the Addo Elephant Park. The group consisted of 8 people. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun. The lunch was delicious and more than we could eat. We took lots of pictures, with the vehicle turning around so both sides could get the best photo possible. What a memorable experience!

Our driver Steve was a wonderful tour guide. Although we did not see any rhinos or lions, the viewing of the elephants, zebra and a cape buffalo were excellent.

We had an extraordinary time with Steve in Ado Elephant Park. He patiently spent hours with us finding animals and telling us about their life here. There were 8 of us in a car and he made sure that everybody took a picture and saw a particular sighting. The lunch was just fantastic, probably one of the best grilled meals I have ever had. Overall, this park is a must to see. Not only elephants (you will see so many of them, moms and babies and everything in between), but zebras, antelopes, kudu, buffalo, even we saw a sleeping lion!

An enjoyable experience. A very full day with lots of animals to see. Guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. Lunch was very tasty. Couldn't believe how may elephants we saw. So fun to watch them.

Allan met us extra early at the Cruise Terminal gate. He was prompt and laid out the plan for the day. He was very thoughtful on the different needs of each participant as we had 6 in the safari vehicle. Great to have the actual safari vehicle at the port vs. changing to another one down the road. He had an amazing eye for spotting animals and would listen to each persons expectations on animal sightings and take whatever time was needed. The BBQ lunch was in a great location, exceptional table setting and the food was first class. Taryn did a great job preparing all of the dishes and was an exceptional host and barbecuer. We had an assortment of 3 specialty prepared meats, salads, garlic bread to die for and wine, soft drinks, water etc. She even had some touristy items we could shop for as our time off the ship was limited. She needs to include selling brownies as snacks for future safaris. Both my wife and I (60's) had a wonderful time and felt very safe and catered to. Great job to this tour company for providing such an exception experience. Thanks again!!

Addo Game Drives is highly recommended. Allan was the guide on my small group tour, and he is excellent. He has great knowledge of the animals, where to find them, and adds humor as well. The 4x4 vehicle is a great plus to visually seeing the animals. The "Braal" lunch BBQ was excellent, enough food to feed me for the entire day.
I highly recommend Addo Game Drives, and further recommend the full-day drive vs. the half-day drive. They will accommodate the return time based on your cruise ship departure.

What a wonderful day trip, everything was perfect, the guide was top notch & we had a most enjoyable time, this is a bucket list trip for sure. We saw lots of Elephants & the BBQ lunch was very good.

Superb Tour with a very knowledgeable and interesting Edy to Addo Elephant Park. A 40 minute drive and we arrived at the South Entrance & then started to see Elephants - loads of Elephants ! The whole day was excellent seeing lots of Zebras, Warthogs and Elephants very close to the truck. The coffee stop in the park where Edy made coffee and the very "filling" Braai lunch were the icing on the cake. We were back well in time for our ship.
Just one thing to note, the tour starts at the Port gates if you are on a cruise ship.

Steven was an excellent driver/guide. He presented us with lots of information about the setting up the park & its history.
The Braai luncheon was well presented & tasty, accompanied by beer, wine or soft drinks.
Steven stopped whenever there was good photo opportunity to capture the animals of the park.
We were very happy with the number of animals, elephants, wart hogs, zebras, cape buffalo, hartebeest, kudu, ostrich, hadeda ibis, guinea fowl & jackal. There are also lions & black rhino which had their day off.

we were on a cruise and we got picked up at the ship as scheduled and off to Addo park. This was great day trip and the elephants and park did not disappoint. Our drivers and guides were top notch and we had an incredible day of spotting animals. The day seemed to go so fast. our guide never seemed rushed or hurried and it allowed us such a awesome experience to take photos of the animals what a special day. thank you..

Excellent guide took us through the park finding the wildlife we were looking all in a natural setting. Highlight was watching an elephant clear the ponds of three lions. The BBQ lunch offering was well done.

Getting to observe some of the Big 5 up close was an amazing experience. The game reserve guide was excellent. The BBQ was an added bonus and really enjoyed sharing the food and beverage with other guests. The whole excursion rates a 5* from us. We highly recommend this excursion.
