Our driver Jonathan was very good. Very informative. We managed to see 3 of the big 5 and plenty of other wildlife as well. Jonathan made sure we had plenty of opportunities to photograph all the animals we saw, even turning around so people on both sides of the vehicle had good views.

Very informative and enjoyable! Saw so many elephants! Also saw plenty of Wart hogs and Zebra.
Driver had loud talk radio on in the van while driving us( in another language) - very annoying! He didn’t have much to say to or from the park, and when you’re in a new city, it would be nice to get this info.

Would be much more interesting had it been with open cabin jeep however in general was not bad by bus

Super visit to the park -this is a national park and the animals are free to roam and some of the animals are harder to find but our guide Mr X, was excellent at finding some we may have missed, with over 700 elephants- they were not in short supply and I will never forget seeing hundreds of them at the water hole

The trip was “great”! It went above and beyond our expectations! We booked independently on Oceania cruise separately. As we see large buses picking up large amount of people we had a more intimate experience due to small number of people. We were blessed by Gary brother of Mick Dundee( just kidding). Gary was very knowledgeable, and was full of knowledge! He also was so patient with my husband who is disabled. It was so much fun seeing all kinds of animals like elephants, zebras, wilder beast, kudu, etc, etc. Very happy and would recommend to anyone!

We saw a huge herd of elephants at a water hole. There were babies with mums, adolescents and large bulls. Nearby were lots of zebras and some wildebeests. Our guide Emmanuel was very knowledgable and knew where to find lots of animals. Although it was extremely hot our van was comfortably air conditioned. A wonderful day not soon forgotten.

Thank you for sharing your incredible experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that you had the opportunity to witness a magnificent herd of elephants, including babies, adolescents, and large bulls, along with zebras and wildebeests at the water hole.
It's fantastic that Emmanuel's knowledge and expertise added to the enjoyment of your safari, and we're pleased the air-conditioned van provided comfort despite the heat. Your kind words mean a lot, and we're delighted to have created a wonderful day that won't be forgotten. We look forward to welcoming you back for more memorable adventures in the future!

It was lovely to see the elephants at the water hole. We saw warthogs, zebra, buffalo, deer, monkeys and a white rhino. Gary was enthusiastic and informative, pointing out dung beetles, tortoises, and various birds. A great tour. Great value for money. I would recommend to others.

After seeing the Hluwehluwe Imfolozi nature reserve , Addo Elephant park is a let down. We saw more elephants in imfolozi than in Addo. The tour was so so. The guide was really not that knowledgeable after experiencing a tour with Tony at Hluweluwe. Should have gotten a different tour.
Response from Host, Jan 2023
Hi Jazmin. Thank you for sharing your opinion. For additional consideration:
1. Addo Elephant Park is the 3rd largest national park in South Africa which is home to over 700 elephant who all roam freely. This means that the elephant are not confined to any particular area besides the 1640km2 extent of the park. Mostly our guests are always exposed to plenty elephant and other wildlife, including the Big 5.
2. Our guides have all received formal training and are registered with the Department of Tourism and approved to guide by the South African National Parks Authority. They all offer exceptional knowledge as evidenced by other guest reviews.
We agree that Hluweluwe is phenomenal - we also offer tours in that Park and love it!
Happy travels! The Into Tours Team

It was a tour very well planned by the guide, everything was quiet, there was no stress whatsoever. We received a lot of information and could look at the animals without risk. In any case, a recommendation.
