Wonderful views of elephants, but let down very badly by the vehicle provided. 4 tourists in a family sized car, with extra seating at rear, totally unsuitable for safari, as no-one wanted to sit in the rear, with no opening windows, very frustrating not being able to photograph the animals, which caused friction between the tourists. I would not have gone had I known we were going in a family sized car. Because of the atmosphere caused by the unhappy co-passengers, we were not able to enjoy this day which we had been looking forward to for so long, very disappointed.

We are glad you got good views on the Elephant. Apologies if you thought the vehicle was not up to stand it is however a 6 seater. We are in the process of finding a supplier to fit open windows at the rear.

Awesome Experience especially for Our Daughter

It was great experience. We were picked up on time and the guide was knowledgeable. Our daughter spotted 15 animals and it was awesome. We all learnt a thing or 2 from our guide.

No leopard in sight as its nor in park. Only saw lion barely, and buffalo. tour guide was v nice and gave good talks about the park.

When I booked this, the pictures and description did not explain that we would be in an actual bus where on some seats windows didn’t even open. I understand that now in the mean time, they have changed this description. The second thing that was not communicated to us was that we were going to join an intact group from a cruise ship. This made the whole day somewhat awkward for us. Lastly, there was a big delay which unfortunately was also not communicated properly. We spend almost 2 hours waiting at the gate before we even started. On top of that, the lunch break also lasted 2 hours (not sure why - but some from the cruise ship group ordered new drinks long after the agreed continuation...) I would not book this tour again.

Good Day Im surprised some windows didn't open, first time im hearing of this. The tour is a open tour so can can get booked from different groups. In future we will try to split the cruiseliner bookings. Apologies and noted the guide was late as there was a delay with the cruiseliner and roadworks. We agreed to a 9.30am pick up at Main Camp and the guide met you there at 10.10am so 2 hours is a exaggeration. We are very surprised at the 1 start rating as you said the guide was good. kind regards Carlin's Tours

A great wildlife day safari

Kyle is a first class safari guide. A great day tour with plenty of wild life and excellent close up viewing of elephants and buffalo. Hotel pick up made things easy and Addo is not far from Port Elizabeth so no time wasted travelling. Strongly recommended.

What a great experience with Carlin. He is soooo nice and very friendly. He showed us all the animals you can see at ADDO Elephant Parc. We got enough to drink and to eat. I was a littlebit nervous because I Never booked on that plattform before but everything worked out very well. Thanks Carlin for this wunderfull day!!

A Truly Memorable Experience 💖

I was a bit nervous booking on Viator as this was my first booking, but I took a leap & I'm glad I did! It was the perfect day! 😊 Carlin greeted me and my mother on time at Port Elizabeth. He was very kind & attentive to my mother's needs as she has limited mobility. At Addo we saw several elephants some of which walked up to the car. We also got to see several zebras, warthogs, herons, ostriches, tortoises, impalas, among many other beautiful wildlife & all set in a very breathtaking landscape. At this point, my trip I had not yet seen a giraffe, nor a lion so Carlin mentioned that he had a combo package and that he could tag on Kragga kamma, safari park. There we saw bontebok antelope, buffalo, zebras, impalas, wildebeest, ostriches, & the two on my wishlist of which I was hoping to only see one of, 2 lionesses & 6 giraffes 😁 For lunch we did a quick stop om the way to Kragga Kamma at Nanaga Farm Stall where we had Roosterkoek chicken sandwiches & a venison meat pie; a taste of South Africa. Overall, it was a perfect day filled with memories I will cherish forever thanks to Carlin. I'll definitely be recommending Carlin's Tours to all my friends & family.
