We really enjoyed our excursion. Kim was an excellent tour guide and very accommodating. Our cruise ship disembarked later than expected, but Kim kindly waited for us and ensured that everyone was accounted for and no one was left behind. We saw amazing scenery across the Otago Peninsula and Larnarch Castle. I would recommend this tour to others.

Our pre-tour questions were all answered in a timely manner and we felt well prepared for the tour. Ann, our guide was phenomenal. She prepared a great plan for the day and executed it with perfection. She said she loved to talk and she provided excellent commentary all along the way. The castle tour that she led was excellent. Best of all, she was extremely attentive to my wife's dietary needs and provided great options.

Beautiful railway station, interesting facts regarding uni accommodation, and the famous Baldwin st. Larnach castle was lovely our guide was well versed on the history of the building. I was recommended to do this tour.

Easy access from cruise ship. Our guide, Kim, was great. He was knowledgeable but also fun. The castle was well worth seeing but the city of Dunedin and the Mountain View’s were also spectacular. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends and family.

I did this tour with my husband, mum & stepdad. We all absolutely loved it. Our guide was Kym who was a wealth of knowledge and very personable. Larnach Castle was the highlight for us but the whole tour was great value. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Dunedin.

Larnach Castle was exceptional. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Lunch is st the castle, but you will need to pay for that there. For some reason, we thought it was included. Good food, but pricey. Gardens were absolutely beautiful when we were there (late February). Don’t miss walking through.

Full day experience with visit to Dunedin Train Station and then a drive to the top of the mountain to see Lornach Castle
Our guide was Alison. She was fantastic and kept apologizing for the dreadful weather Had it not been raining all day we would have had a 5 star experience. Could not walk in the castle gardens or see the incredible views from the castle.

We had a fabulous day trip with Ann, who was accompanied by her son Dustin in highland dress. We thought we were just going to Larnach Castle but made stops at the Railway Station, the Octagon, Baldwin Street, the worlds steepest street and the University as well. Ann was an excellent tour guide and full of information about the area. We had plenty of free time at Larnach Castle to enjoy the spectacular views. We highly recommend this tour.

We had a fantastic day with our exceptional guide, Kim. One of the main reasons I chose this tour was the guided visit to Larnach Castle—and Kim truly brought it to life with his passionate storytelling and deep knowledge.
I’m especially grateful for his kindness and thoughtfulness throughout the day. He went out of his way to make an unscheduled stop at the Yuan Garden just for me, and when my mum was struggling with blisters, he kindly took the time to buy her some bandaids. His care and consideration made the experience all the more memorable.

Small group tour with a fabulous driver/guide
to Lanache Castle. We were greeted at the castle by the guide Anne’s sons in full highland dress & playing bagpipes which added to the wonderful experience.

Awesome excursion! We were able to see everything thing on our list. Our tour guide was great and had a wealth of knowledge and was also fun! We had a small bus that held about 20 and was easy to get in and out of. Highly recommend this tour.

The pickup from the cruise port was so convenient and the van was very nice and roomy. The driver was local and she knew so much about the area. We stopped at lots of places and saw more than I expected. The tour of the castle was great and we learned lots and had plenty of time. Afterwards we had time to walk around the grounds and castle on our own. The former ballroom was converted into a nice place to purchase refreshments.

Great tour on a large bus for good viewing. The scenery was gorgeous with excellent tours of Dunedin, the Dunedin train station, Larnach Castle and lots of other beautiful sights. Our tour guide Ken was very knowledgeable about the city and castle, history and wildlife. We enjoyed lunch at Glenfalloch Gardens. Would highly recommend this tour.
