On the day (20 Jun) we originally booked the trip we waited at the pickup point for 45 minutes with another couple (who had booked with TUI) and weren't picked up. A taxi driver had arrived, spoke to people who were waiting for other trips, tourist trains and airport transfers and waved a pamphlet about - it turned out that this was a flier for the boat trip. When I spoked to him and showed him my tickets he said he was there because the hotel had phoned him for a taxi, and denied any knowledge of a boat trip. He then drove off.
The other couple contacted TUI and explained the situation, were advised that someone had been sent to the pickup point and said that there was no-one there. TUI rearranged their trip for the next day. We tried to contact the tour operator using the number provided but couldn't get through. Valentina, hotel receptionist, tried the number and said it wasn't working, and then searched for another number and got through. Our trip was then rearranged for the next day.
On 21 Jun, pickup was made by the tour operators bus and it seemed that there were too many people waiting. The pick up driver contacted base and arranged for additional transport to carry out pickup so everyone got to the port OK (10 min driveaway).
Trip itself was good, crew cheerful and helpful. There was good commentary about where we sailing past.
Rovinj pleasant town and strolled between the two harbours. Lunch served on board as we left Rovinj (slightly delayed as three girls who spent all the time posing for selfies were late returning the boat). Food (meat) was good and wine pleasant and plentiful (replenished during return to Porec). Seconds were offered if you wanted more.
Journey to the pirate cave very pleasant and saw Jolly Roger above the cave.
Peaceful walk around Vrsar, another pretty town.
On return journey entertained by captain playing accordion and singing various shanties.
Good trip, enjoyed by various nationalities and was value for money.
Marred by lack of pickup by the taxi driver, but operator and receptionist managed to rearrange tour.

Loved this trip!
Sailed for around an hour until we reached the charming town of Rovinj which is definitely worth a visit.
The crew on the boat were extremely friendly, we were all given a free shot of grappa which is pretty rough but as it was a group experience we all loved hating it together. When we returned to the boat after an hour and a half on Rovinj lunch was served to us, mackerel or sausage and chicken with bread and sauerkraut, wine, juice and water. The food wasn’t fantastic (I’d go with the fish) but it wasn’t terrible either and everyone on the boat enjoyed hand feeding seagulls with any leftovers. Second stop was Vrsar which wasn’t as nice as Rovinj but gave the opportunity to swim, although the beach was pretty packed.
On the way back to port we were given more grappa and treated to one of the crew playing the accordion.
This trip offers real value for money!

The boat carries 200 people, and you are packed on. You ride to Rovinj, disembark and have 2 hours to look around. The meal is a plate of cabbage,plain bread and either a hot dog, fish, or chicken, and Fanta or wine. Throughout the ride hiubare pushed to purchase drinks. You then go to the Lim Fjord.
There is NO information at all on this “tour”. You then pull in to Vrsar where you can swim on a beach. On that beach you must pay to rent a chair, or sit in the rocky beach.
You then get back by 5.

This was the full day boat excursion from Porec, calling at Rovinj, where we had 2 hours free time to wander around, Lim Fjord, where we didn't stop, and finally Vrsar, where we had approx 1 1/2 hours to explore and have a cooling swim in the sea.
The day got off to a good start, when the crew offered everyone a free shot of slivovice. Cheers! Then it was time to settle back and enjoy the ride. There was a bar service available throughout the trip, lunch was included and this was served on board after we departed Rovinj. There was a choice of fish (mackerel) or meat (chicken and German style sausage) both served with bread and sauerkraut, and also included drinks (water, orange squash and white wine)
Lunch was the only reason I have not given 5 out of 5, the chicken was very salty and the wine was awful!
In between stops, one of the crew entertained us with his accordion, and near the end of the trip, we were offered another slivovice.
To summarise, a great day out, apart from the lunch!

Bei dieser Tour handelt es sich um einen herkömmlichen Bootsausflug im Designe eines Seegelschiffes. Mit segeln hat dieser Ausflug überhaupt nichts zu tun. Als wir das "Segelboot" gesehen haben drehten wir um und machten uns einen schönen Badetag am Strand da wir keinen herkömmlichen Bootsausflug auf einem vollem Boot machen wollten sondern "segeln und entspannen".

Misleidende excursietekst. Dachten te gaan zeilen, maar het was een stinkende dieselboot. We zijn dus niet aan boord gegaan.

Sehr nette Crew und ein toller Tag. Stadt Rovinij ist sehr schön.
Der Halt bei dem Badestrand in Vsar war etwas enttäuschend da wäre vielleicht ein schöner Strand auf einer Insel schön gewesen aber alles in einem war es sehr schön!
