Kevin and Alberto were amazing! Fun, flexible and very knowledgeable. We saw and swam in the beautiful Rio Celeste and saw 5 sloths, a viper, multiple frogs and other exciting critters. I highly recommend this. It captured the essence of what Costa Rica has been in my mind all my life.

Exceptional Tour Guide Luis!

My girlfriend, sister and I absolutely loved this excursion! If you are lucky enough to have Luis as your guide, you are in for an amazing day of insight and desire to share his country with you. From high quality transportation, on the fly stops to see/taste Costa Rica, you will not be disappointed. We made a stop off at a tree that was 500 years old and was the inspiration for Avatar. We also saw a sloth just above our heads, which was on my girlfriend’s life bucket list. This was only one of 4.5 sloths we saw (one had a baby!). Tree frogs, poison dart frogs, birds, pit vipers, and even a tapir walked right across our path when we stopped to walk around. It was very safe and we stopped off for a great lunch at a very cool farm with a great view. We were able to get amazing pictures of it all and our guide might be a professional photographer, so we were all in the photos as well. IT. WAS. AWESOME! Thank you SO much Luis. You truly made our trip exceptional and wish you all the best!

Better than a day at the hotel

Tour guides were great, warm and personable. Van was clean and safe. You won't see the water fall FYI, but that wasn't a deal breaker for us. Would have appreciated a shorter swim for more jungle time. **Wear pants for the jungle/bring bug spray** if you'e scared of insects.

Come Prepared

Come prepared to endure a nearly 2hr private bus ride, hike to the rio Celeste, and through the rainforest to see sloths, toucans, frogs, etc. when I say “prepared” I mean it… I wish we would have worn long pants, long sleeves, and more comfortable closed toe walking shoes. There were A LOT of bugs and possible snakes which we didn’t fully appreciate until it was too late. Despite using bug spray, we are covered in bites. Still, really nice time seeing all the animals, just a really long drive and a little too much nature for the outfits we prepared. Our driver was also the best. Thanks Alberto!

fun and memorable

Our guides, Memo and David were amazing! They were so friendly and accommodating. Our group was small which made moving to the different locations much faster. Getting to be up close and personal with the sloths was such a joy and lunch was delicious. Overall it was a great day and we had a wonderful time. We definitely recommend this tour. Pura Vida!

A Leisurely Day

Driver was prompt and courteous. Interesting drive from the arid to the lush landscapes. Hike was restricted to a small plot of land with trails throughout. Lunch was good and plentiful. Saw small butterfly exhibit, no snake farm. Stopped for a swim, pretty but under the bridge for the road. Unexpected and unnecessary stop at a souvenir shop, would rather have used this time to explore. Would have liked more English, more information about what we were seeing and better communication overall. The drive was long in comparison to the activities.
