We had an amazing time on our tour. We were here 20 years ago and we couldn’t wait to share it with our boys. Our driver Duck was fantastic very entertaining full of lots of knowledge in regards to traditions the local area and wildlife I couldn’t say enough positive things about him!

Best tour!! Incredibly fun and interesting experience! Went early in the morning and basically had the place to ourselves! The most incredible zip line views, the staff was super helpful, even taking photos and video for us, the waterslide was super fast and fun, the spa was a real treat, and the cultural experience was great too! Our driver and guide, Oliver, was the absolute best! He was so friendly, smart, caring, helpful, and FUN! I can’t recommend him or this experience enough! You HAVE to check it out if you’re in the vicinity! an incredible lifelong memory was made!

Oliver was an amazing guide!! I did change our departure from 6:30 to 7:30 in the morning because our resort didn’t serve breakfast until 6:30 and you just can’t go all day with kids without eating. Viator also didn’t really list important info like where we were actually going (Buena Vista Del Ricon) or the distance to travel there (2.5 hours each way). They did not provide water bottles like the ad stated. And we didn’t know our things would stay in the van all day (and we were near it frequently) so we could pack anything we needed vs packing light (which is what I thought we were supposed to do). Before we left, we ran back to the hotel room to get a change of clothes, chargers, snacks, and the kids tablets for the ride. Oliver was great at letting us know the things we should bring and was very patient. He was a fantastic guide, lead us flawlessly through our day, and we had an absolute blast! The activities were insanely awesome and it was absolutely the highlight of our Costa Rica trip! Honestly, Buena Vista Del Ricon is a MUST do if you visit. Bring cash to tip your guide, they deserve it!

Ya know how everyone knows a guy who seems to "know a guy" for everything, and knows all the places to go and best times to be there, our tour guide Duck was that guy!
Everywhere we went, Duck navigated where we needed to be and told us what to expect. All while pointing out animals and giving us information on Costa Rica, and somehow we magically skipped the line in most places!
Duck was super knowledgeable and personable! We had such a great time with him, my son cried when he dropped us off back to the hotel! He definitely left a memorable impression with our family, and we will try to book him again when we can make it back to that beautiful Pura Vida life!

Duck was so wonderful - full of knowledge and energy, and quick with a joke! When we mentioned what a treat fresh mangoes are he stopped at a roadside stand and bought us a bagful. An absolute professional - we felt safe and cared for at all times. We highly recommend.

I don't know where to begin. This all-day adventure DELIVERED! Duck, our gem of a guide, is truly the crème de la crème. Right away he was inviting and welcoming and I knew we were in for a ton of fun. Duck is a wealth of knowledge, who has a love for his country and his job. Not to mention, his infectious smile was contagious. A couple of things to know - towels are provided and changing rooms are available. The zip lining was a 7 line course that was just incredible with off the chart views. Our 12 yr olds loved the water slide and went down a couple of times. We all greatly enjoyed the hot springs. The crowds weren't bad at all which was nice. I suggest packing sneakers and water sandals. Also, bug spray. Do not forget bug spray. You stop at a huge market on the way, buy snacks. The lunch is delicious, seriously one of our favorite meals. The cocktails at the hot springs were also delicious! I could go on and on but the point is BOOK THIS and my fingers are crossed you get Duck as your guide! Have Fun!

If I could give more then 5 stars I would. Zip linking was amazing, horseback riding fun, water slide was great you could choose your own speed which was perfect for our family with an 8, 12, and 18 year old, the food was great, and ending with a spa and med bath was the perfect touch. All the staff for each activity were amazing. Our horse back riding tour was great with taking our camera and riding around to get us different pictures at different angles. I loved how they took your pics throughout the experience and it wasnt too one of a price to get them.
Duck our tour guide was absolutely amazing. He has so much information about the country, farming wild life and answered all our random questions you could tell he loved his job and made the end of our trip remmemeber able. I would 100 recommend this and do it again.

Our tour guide (Doc) was excellent. The tour starts an hour before the others. Why? Because by doing that, and the tour being private, we beat the rush. We causally zip lined as the first people of the day. We casually rode horses, also first. The hot springs nor water slide were crowded because of the sage work done by Doc who was fun, knowledgeable and took care of us completely. The tour itself is excellent. Zip lining was beautiful. The water slide is amazing and fun (and COLD! It’s mountain water. So not surprising. But COLD!). And the hot springs soak was relaxing and perfect. The tour was excellent and worth the cost. By far. Highly recommend.

We thought this tour is a great value! The private aspect gave us the flexibility to change the schedule according to our family’s preferences. The activities were good. Our guide, Mario, was a good planner and helped us to avoid the crowds. Mario’s foresight in planning made our tour feel uncrowded at almost all times which is credible because we were there during the busiest week of the year - Christmas week.

We had a marvelous time! Roger our driver was awesome! Stayed with us all day helping us and directed us entire time. He deserves a raise!!!
Our excursions were a lot of fun! Lunch was delicious and authentic! Would do this agin. Especially if Roger was our guide and driver!
