Pickup details

We offer free pick up locally in Playa Grande and Matapalo. From Tamarindo (Playa Langosta) to Potrero (including Playa Flamingo, Brasilito, Playa Conchal and Huacas) it is $15 per person round trip. We also pick up at Casa Chameleon, JW Marriott . All hotels and homes in Playa del Coco and Papagayo (including Riu, Mangroove, Hard Rock, Secrets, Four Seasons, Andaz and all others) for an extra charge-please enquire. Transportation is paid directly at the beach. Pick up times vary with lesson times and PLEASE NOTE-minimum 2 people per lesson.

This was a huge highlight of our trip! Tim and his wife are absolutely wonderful! The instructors are all locals and take great pride in teaching people the art of surfing. Tim provided us with information on local sites and other recommendations for activities. This was a bucket list item for us and we were successful. My daughter (24 yrs old) was a natural, I (over 50 yrs old) was able to get up on my 3rd try and even my husband (also over 50 yrs old) was able to enjoy this. They provide rash guard shirts and any size and shape. We have fresh pineapple and got to enjoy FRESH baked banana bread. THANK YOU Mojo Surfing for fulfilling a dream for us. Pura Vida!!

Surfing fun in Costa Rica

Very enjoyable surf lesson on the beach in Costa Rica. The trip went well from start to finish. Good communication for the pickup, and then a very complete first lesson. Focus initially on safety with the board was appreciated and all of us (parent and two teenagers) managed to get up and surf the pacific waves.
