Overview

This introductory scuba diving course in Flamingo Beach is a great way for first-time divers to experience the beauty of swimming deep underwater without investing the time and expense into a PADI certification. This was such an amazing surreal experience! Our instructor's name was Risky. Even though his name is Risky he was not risky, he was very safe and thorough. He continuely made sure we felt comfortable and he clearly answered all our questions. We did a run through of the equipment and the basic skills in a pool before going into the ocean which was extremely helpful. The experience was so fun and energetic! I highly recommend adding this excursion to your trip!

Amazing crew for those new to scuba diving

I could not have asked for a better instructor/guide for my first ever scuba diving experience. Risky was absolutely incredible and patient even when I had some anxiety during the introduction lesson in the pool. He took his time and ensured I was comfortable before moving forward. They sea life was incredible! We heard whales, saw a sea turtle, school of devil rays, several reef sharks, and several other species. Such a great location and company to do your first scuba diving experience with!

Had two fantastic dives with Pacific Coast Dive at the Catalina Islands. The trip works well for all skill levels. We saw plenty of wildlife, including pufferfish, starfish, and even reef sharks resting in caves and rock crevices. Bottom time was generous at nearly an hour for both dives. Our guide, Jose, was outstanding. His passion for diving is obvious, but his skill as an instructor is what stood out. He gave my 12-year-old granddaughter, a first-timer, incredible attention and patience, making sure she was safe and confident. Highly recommend this company, especially for new divers. Ask for Jose.

The pool lessons was very helpful. The instructors are very friendly & kind. They wont hesitate to help you if they need to. They're also very encouraging. Jose & Angie were our instructors.

We had a fantastic dive! Saw two large rays (not a manta sadly but still very cool) several reef sharks, lots of puffers, eels and schools of fish. Others in our group saw a turtle and octopus. I was super happy that my husband and I had our own guide and every other group that came together had their own as well. Loved everything about this experience and the staff that guided us. Shout out to Risky who was great and was our instructor.

Beware of False advertising!

This tour states that we would be scuba diving at Catalina Island. That was the only reason why my son and I went on this tour. However, we were informed that we would not be going to Catalina Island while we were already on the boat with our wet suits on! We went to a different spot where I saw a few fish but nothing like Catalina Island that I paid to visit. They said that we could not go to Catalina Island because of the weather conditions. However the weather was great! They should of informed us before we got on the boat.
