Busy day, be prepared for a day in the car! Attractions are not close together and thus a hard grind…not ADA and some activities are strenuous!! Plan on buying or bringing snacks and water, mett my expectations

Sangaran took us to many sights.He was very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. Loved the Batu Caves, towers, palace. War memorial etc.

The tour provider did not show up. We waited in the arrival hall for over 45 minutes before contacting Viator, who informed us that the tour had been cancelled the night before. We received no WhatsApp message or email notifying us of this cancellation. As a result, we were unable to do the tour. We paid the full price in advance and are still waiting for a full refund. We are extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and handling of this situation.

The tour operator sent a very small Sedan for 4 people. We were stuffed in the car like Sardines. I will not recommend this tour operator. This tour operator is cheating people. Not capable of sending large enough vehicle to fit very fit 4 people.
I definitely will stay away from this tour operator.

Travel first Bacu Caves - heavy traffic due to collision on motorway - Murugan - our driver pointed out ‘landmarks’ and visited key sites around City. Busy day but enjoyable - cows grazing on edge of motorway was an interesting thing to see - although ‘normal

Our "tourguide" was nothing more than a driver. He showed up an hour earlier than our voucher stated and expected to start right away. He was unaware of the list of 17 sites that the tour included and we had to direct him to the list. He was polite but mildly contentious from the beginning that the list was not possible to do in the time allowed. He asked us what we wanted to see of the list, but we had little context in which to give him an answer, and he offered no guidance. We eliminated any break for lunch and still were unable to see all of the sites. The worst part of this fiasco was that the "tour guide" provided us no history no facts about Malaysia or Kuala Lumpur. When we reached each site he opened the door, pointed where to go and said he would be there when we were done. He offered no history, facts, description or context for any of the sites, no guidance what to see or its meaning or significance. He did nothing to guide us managing the time to its best effect. This is the worst tour guide we have ever experienced. We had one day in Kuala Lumpur and probably will never have an opportunity to return. The tour guide was preoccupied with when the tour was to end, that we booked with Viator and that he would have provided a better experience if we booked with him, and if the tour took too long he would have to charge extra. This made the experience negative, unpleasant and a little stressful. Viator obviously did not vet this guide. Really awful.

Comprehensive tour of KL if you haven't been before. We chose to omit the shopping. The Batu Caves climb is quite strenuous. Time limits were good for each stop. You do not have time to go up the toweres. If you wanted to you would need to prebook. Nagen, our guide, got us from the port and back in plenty of time. He was helpful and knowledgeable on our enquiries

Well, I can’t say anything good they were late. After searching. Searching for them in the immediate area and in the parking lot after 15 minutes past the time we gave up I tried to contact them but no answer as a result we gave up and used two local drivers to handle our group of eight people. As we were driving to Kuala lumper, The tour travel provider called and said they were there on time. That was a lie. They were not. Don’t use this group
They spent more energy trying to say we were wrong instead of admitting their failure.

Into the Cruise terminal we can't enter without permissio need to wait until the guest out, then only pickup. it will take 15-30 minutes to reach the terminal lobby.

We were booked for 10am but it took us over an hour to find our driver. Our driver had no board with our names on. We observed him sat around the terminal making no effort to find his customers so we did not approach him. We also had difficulty with Wi-Fi so could not contact the suppliers until after 11am. Once we got his telephone number we made contact and could not believe it was the character we had observed sat around. Why did he not ring us presumably he had our number.

We had zero communication regarding the pick up. We had no names or car details. After 10 mins later than scheduled I rang the tour operator and he said the driver would be there in 10 mins, we waited and no driver. I rang again and the tour operator then gave then gave me a car number to look out for. The driver did not come into the terminal with a name paper for us we had to find him!! This was crazy. We eventually found him driving past the terminal in a 10 year old small car. Not what we expected. The driver then told us he had been circling since the meeting time so someone was not telling us the truth. The tour agency needs to get there act together and communicate more with the customer regarding pick up. We wondered about the insurance cover as we were in a private car.We told the driver about the problems.
The driver Richard was actually very good with his knowledge of the area and he changed the tour as we wanted to allow us to get back to the ship in good time.

Cruise Terminal not to allow the vehicle to park longer, once the guest out of the lobby then only can pickup the guest. its take time to pickup from the cruise terminal.

Our guide received me really friendly at the Cruise port (unfortunately our berth was at Northport, instead of the PKCT), so I had to take a taxi there, but later it was revealed that he waited for me at the Northport Center.
Anyhow we skipped the Batu Caves, as they were super crowded and we wanted to see Kuala Lumpur instead.
The scheduled tour was as described and the guide provided us a lot of interesting information. Usually he told us where we could find any of the sights (next to his stops) with a time frame, so we could take our time as we wanted, witrh respect to our embarkation time of our cruise.
My favourite were the Theanh Thou temple and the area around the central market.
We were dropped on time and we saw a lot of sights, so highly recommanded from my side.

Our taxi driver was waiting which was great and he drove us into KL our first stop the Petronis Towers as we had 10am tickets. We arrived in plenty of time and he gave us good instructions as to where to meet. He was a lovely man but English was limited so only told us what he had rehearsed and wasnt really able to answer many questions we had. It was more a taxi tour and at each stop rather than offering to take photos of us at the particular landmark all he was interested in was taking our photo to prove I assume that he had taken us there. Glad we did it but didnt learn much but did see a lot in the 7 hour period. I only recommend this tour if you are happy just to be taken around and told where to meet rather than having a guide who would normally come with you and explain things. This was more a taxi ride with limited information

Kuala Lumpur attractions was a flash past most while the driver was on his mobile to a friend and his fiancé. We did get to the Batu Caves which was wonderful except you have to pay for the toilets which we didn't have Rangit for. Like most of these tours you are taken to most of the retail outlets for the longest time. The car was nearly an hour late which he said was because of traffic, but judging by the way he drove he probably created most of the mayhem. We made the most of the day and only got to see a handful of sights on the list (which we opted as our most important to see). Spent time in a chocolate factory and spent way too much for very average chocs.

It was very comfortable just we two and the driver. For good luck there was an indian festival in the big temple many colours, a lot of friendly people so we did not mind the 276 steps.
We could manage the time according to our wishes and so we also had lunch in a very good indian restaurant without tourists.
Kuala Lumpur is a very nice town, clean, green and friendly.

This was an acceptable alternative to what the ship shore excursions had to offer.
Picked up early by driver/guide and headed off to first attraction stop namely Batu Caves. Good to be there early as even then it was busy. Remainder of trip mostly short 10/15 photo and stretch leg opportunities which gave us a nice taste of KL on our first visit. Returned to ship in good time for departure.

It is worth it, we visited several very interesting places, the guide is very kind and helpful but speaks little English.
The cruise arrived at Westports and not Cruise Terminal so you have to take a 30 minute shuttle to transfer, it created a little confusion at first.
Precaution to be taken when booking as it is necessary to allow at least one hour between the arrival of the boat and the pick-up of passengers.
I highly recommend this excursion.
