Visiting Cocora Valley and Salento was an unforgettable experience. Cocora Valley is absolutely breathtaking. The towering wax palms and rolling green hills were beautiful but the birds and wildlife were also unique and vibrant. Our guide Jhon was phenomenal. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable about Cocora, he also knew everything about the coffee region and was able to provide information the coffee guide didn't even know. Also, he is a biologist and had an uncanny ability to recall every species of bird just by their calls. He could also call them (people surrounded us to witness this). He helped us locate rain ponchos in town, and some delicious pastries at a local shop. The visit to Finca Entrebusques was very interesting. We picked coffee seeds, roasted them and learned about the process from start to finish. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Colombia and I can confidently recommend this tour.

we had a wonderful time with Gustavo! he knew so much about the wildlife and history of colombia, which was an added bonus during our tour. you could tell he was very passionate about his job and his country, which just made our time with him every greater! i would highly recommend this tour. the hike was easy and beautiful, the lunch stop was our favorite meal that we had in colombia, and the coffee tour was also beautiful and informative.

Gustavo was our tour guide for the day and did a fabulous job. We started off at a family coffee farm and Anderson was our guide. He brought the whole experience to life and made it so interesting! We even got to pick coffee beans. After experiencing the coffee farm we headed to the town of Salento and Gustavo helped us find the souvenirs we were looking for. You could easily spend a whole day there...lots of shopping. We then headed to lunch after we left Salento and it was delicious. They even had a special lunch for my mom who is vegetarian. After leaving lunch we headed to Cocora Valley. There are no words absolutely breathtaking. We did some hiking and Gustavo told us the history behind it. He also took some fabulous pictures for us :-) Highly recommend this tour. From them picking us up at our resort/hotel to dropping us off everything was very well organized.

Cocora Valley is a wonderful place. The guide Juan Diego is super nice, calm, knowledgeable, knows when to say what. The driver Ruen was always in control of the road. Lunch was excellent.

Ivan was our English speaking guide. He was awesome! So knowledgeable and friendly. He went out of his way to customize the experience with parts he knew we would love. This tour was everything we wanted to experience and a few many more surprises. For starters our guide Yasmín was very sweet and funny, as well as knowledgeable about the área. We wanted to include a horseback riding segment, last minute addition to our experience, and she was able to accommodate without any problems. The coffee tour of the farm was amazing. We learned everything about the process of coffee from beginning to end and were able to sample some of the best coffee produced in the region. This is a tour that is one I would love to repeat in the future with the rest of my family members because it gives a beautiful taste of the wonderful country that is Colombia.

My Mom and I did this tour and it was everything we could have asked for and more. Our guide, Juan, and driver Didier, were pleasant, professional, helpful and knowledgeable. They catered the tour to our needs, which is good because my Mom is 81 years old. The Cocora Valley is stunningly beautiful, and our hike through it was spectacular. Salento is a charming town, and I am considering going back to spend some time there. The coffee tour was very informative and enjoyable. It was a full day. Saw great sights, made new friends, and learned much. I have spent a lot of time in Medellin, but this trip I wanted to really get out into the countryside, and this tour served that purpose perfectly. I highly recommend this tour!

Loved this tour. Cocora Valley is a must-do - it is absolutely breathtaking although it says comfortable shoes I would recommend either very good trainers or walking boots. The lunch was delicious and the coffee tour was really interesting. Our guide was really knowledgeable - we actually had two guides as one was an apprentice, we also had a great driver and ended up being the only two on the tour! The mini-van was really comfortable and clean and we didn't feel rushed at all. One thing to note is that although it says you have water included we didn't get this until lunch time - so make sure you bring along some water for the walk in Cocora.

Excelente experiencia muy completa y agradable. El chofer Ramiro muy puntual y atento, con buena conversación, y el guía Juan Camilo excelente en sus atenciones e información muy interesante, resuelve dudas y es muy amable y paciente durante la subida al valle. La comida de muy buena calidad en presentación y sabor. Y el tour de café muy ilustrativo
