This was a fantastic trip - our driver, Rhion from Daktari tours, was great, super helpful and a fount of information, not just about the plants and wildlife on the Alana’s peninsula but also about the history of Cyprus. The jeep ride was great fun (so glad we didn’t attempt to hire a 4 x 4 ourselves!) the views were amazing, the spring flowers were just beginning ( we went in March) and overall it was a brilliant day out.

Our driver was superb real good fun and lots of info. The walk through the Gorge was hot but really lovely. Tip wear trainers. Lovely swim at Lara Bay and great to find out about Flora fauna and conservation

I booked this for my family which included my 5 year old grandson as it included a visit to Turtle Beach in the Jeep, which I thought he would enjoy The jeep picked us up and drove to a meeting point where we were told we wouldn't see any turtles as they only come onto the beach at night. It said comfortable footwear was advised but at The Gorge you really needed hiking boots, and several people could not make the rocky climb to see it. Turtle beach and Lara Beach turned out to be the same place, so actually 2 stops and not 3. Misleading description of the trip, not value for money, although the driver was lovely!

This trip was great, however we didn’t actually see the turtles as advertised as they weren’t around until May. So it shouldn’t be advertised as such. I think it’s also quite expensive for what was included and compared to other tours I have done with this company.

We booked this more expensive tour, because you went to fewer places but stayed at this places longer. We were very interested in the Gorge and turtle Bay.
The first stop was something that wasn't on the plan, which gave us less time for the other places we actually wanted to see.
At the Gorge, the guide didn't go into the Gorge, but gave us 5 minutes (!!) to check it out. The advertisement says 2 hours. I understand that that includes the travelling time, but we didn't expect 5 minutes. Half of the group didn't feel comfortable going without him and didn't even see the actual gorge.
At turtle Bay we got ten minutes and then we told him that the add says 2 hours and that 10 minutes is very little. He basically told us we're lying and that he did this tour for lots of years and he knows what's in the add.. Bit offensive.
After that we were supposed to go to a viewpoint, but later upon checking our trip via Google history, we never went to that actual viewpoint. We went to a small town were we could buy drinks with a mediocre viewpoint. (we saw way better ones during the ride.)
Half of the drive isn't off road. We booked this tour because we couldn't reach the Gorge and turtle Bay by our rented car..
Looking back, if you want to actually see those things, it wouldve been better to rent a buggy/quad.
But if you want a jeep safari, go for the 53€ one. Thisone goes to the same places, but goes to a better beach.

My guide was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. The tour spots are filled with jeeps and other tourists, but the locations are amazing and well worth checking out. The ending with the blue lagoon swimming was icing on the cake. Thank you!

I’ve done this trip in the height of summer. Akamas in the Autumn was slightly cooler, so a bit more comfortable. Glimpses of mountain goats are possible. Beautiful landscapes. Travelling by jeep was bone rattling, but a lot of fun, across rough terrain and very steep hills.

The guides were great, the scenery was beautiful. The Cyprus economy depends on tourism so there is a great deal of 'infastructure', restaurants, hotels, beaches. Some of it can seem contrived Aphrodite's pool? but I enjoyed myself. Thank you.

Nous étions un groupe de 8 personnes, guidé par Michael, un guide agréé qui parlait anglais, français, espagnol et allemand.
Michael a été incroyable tout au long de la journée, répondant à toutes nos questions, nous expliquant le plus de choses possibles sur la faune et la flore et nous faisant découvrir des paysages uniques.
